Cedars Sinai RN New Grad Residency Fall 2021 Cohort Application

Hello! 

I applied for the RN residency program this morning around 2 am because I heard it normally closes up fairly early, but it looks like it is still going! Does anyone know information on how the process normally goes? I got an internal referral, does that improve my chances at all? Thanks in advance!

Had my interview for 7SE and 7SW General Medical. Super great people, but such a short interview! I thought it went well, but a little nervous that it didn't take very long. Can't wait to hear who gets in!

I interviewed for 5SE & 5SW at 9am! l am a little sad I got a last minute invite to do an interview, but I am grateful I got one.  I do not know how it went for me, I was so nervous I probably word vomit.  I think we are only given only 30 minutes to interview and had 10 questions asked.  HR said earliest response for my unit would be today and the latest would be next Tuesday!

This morning I had a 3-panel interview for 6NE / 6NW. It lasted 26 minutes & IDK how many questions I got asked but it was a mix of clinical/situational & behavioral questions. I was too shy to ask them when we would hear back by but based on what was said during the connectivity test last week we should be hearing back by Tuesday. I haven’t received the email containing the reference survey yet. Anyhow, BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE. ?

Hi everyone! Hope your interviews went well!! I interviewed with 6SE/SW

looks like we’ll hear back by Tuesday. I was wondering if someone could explain how the references work? I remember in the connectivity test the recruiter saying if you receive a reference check this could mean you’re one of the top candidates or an alternate? Is that right? Please let me know if I heard that right, I’m anxiously checking my emails LOL

Awesome!! that means a good thing! how many references are they asking for and what other specifics. Can they be anyone or clinical instructors etc.

Good luck everyone! Got a reference email a few minutes ago as well! I think they ask for 3 classmates and 2 supervisors/professors/clinical instructors as references.
