Cedars Sinai RN New Grad Residency Fall 2021 Cohort Application

Hello! 

I applied for the RN residency program this morning around 2 am because I heard it normally closes up fairly early, but it looks like it is still going! Does anyone know information on how the process normally goes? I got an internal referral, does that improve my chances at all? Thanks in advance!

I dunno ? I swear he said they were going to hire forty something hires or more, that's why maybe I think he's not done emailing around when I saw 36 invitees.

Or, perhaps you may not have gotten the position initially, but there's a chance you may still get it if the references for the initial selected candidates did not follow through OR they may drop out before the onboarding process.

I got the email saying I've been accepted for the residency program (Woohoo! ???) however, the scheduled meeting is during the middle of my workday tomorrow. I am hoping either I can adjust the time I meet or my job will work with me... but I look forward to meeting you all! Congratulations to all who recieved the email!

Yes! I just made one called "Cedars-Sinai New Grad RN Fall 2021 Cohort". I'll start adding people from the email but I only have 36 and I think there's a couple more.

Hi everyone, I just found this thread and would like to congratulate those who got a spot for this cohort.  I received the reference check and offer letter for general OR recently and I’m pretty excited!  Looking forward to meeting everyone on Oct 11!

On a side note, for those who didn’t get a spot, don’t give up.  It’s a numbers game so apply to as many new grad programs as possible.  I believe that’s how I eventually landed a position.  I personally don’t know anyone who works at Cedars and I’m an external candidate.

Hello!? I just recently found this thread and I am also part of the October 2021 Cohort! I was supposed to start in August but there was some trouble with my school completing my BSN degree on time due to COVID. However, I am excited to be part of this cohort! I have sent you a request to join the facebook group, thank you! ?
