CCBC 2011 Fall petitioners

Hi, everyone. I just finished my prereqs. last semester. I am planning on petitioning for CCBC online program in Catonsville, and also Harford community college's accelerated program. Starting to study for the

Teas V exams. Would love to talk to any other new petitioners. Let's walk this journey together! Also, if there are any other nursing students who are attending CCBC or Harford who can offer any advice, I would love to hear some!

I finally got my "pink" card. Considering my application was complete in January...I am not looking forward to the wait. The card read mid-May response. Have mercy!! :bowingpur

Misstekaboo- Congrats and Good Luck! That is really great. It must feel so good to have an acceptance in hand. I hope to feel that way soon too! The weekend call must have been a bit out of the blue. But if CCBC calls me at 3AM on a Sunday morning- I will answer!

Woohoo...finally got my pink card...but it said I would hear in LATE MAY. Very odd. Could they be waiting for my Spring grades for pre-reqs in Micro and A&P II? I guess I should just sit back and not try to second guess.

It's late may for everyone. They don't wait for spring grades. It takes them at least 2 months with the decision making process.

My card read MID-MAY. All decisions are mailed out the same day...it better not take them 10 weeks to get it figured out....I think mid-May (8 weeks) is a bit too long...

I know..that is why I was so confused when some (including mine) said late May and some others said Mid May. Not that my wondering or worrying is going to speed up the response..but nice to have a forum to whine about it!

My card said mid May. I can't think about anything else! I think I'll go crazy if we have to wait til late May. I was actually hoping that they just put the latest possible date on the cards so they wouldn't get a bunch of phone calls. Still keeping my fingers crossed that we'll get lucky and they'll make decisions by the end of April:bowingpur

My pink card said mid-May as well. Hopefully we'll all hear something or someone will notice a $200 fee applied to their account soon! :-)

It's nice too that now you can check your app status online. Hopefully 2nd week of may we will hear something, and hopefully something good.

I am in the nursing program at Catonsville and it took us about 5 weeks after the application deadline to get a response. Best of luck to you all! Is the deadline still March 15? If so I doubt you will wait longer than the end of April. I know first hand how hard it is to wait and see if you got into the program so everyone just hang in there!:heartbeat
