CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

LOL! I hear about her being awful, horrible, rude, etc. all too often! She seemed completely out of sorts when I was on the phone with her and it sounded like I was bothering her and taking up her time but I pushed on with my questions because quite frankly, our tuition is what helps her keep her job and really, it's her job to talk to people. Another girl I know said she talked to her on the phone and Gwen was chewing in her ear eating a hamburger - and she only knew this because Gwen told her. Absolutely ridiculous! I know they said to meet with a case manager before applying but there's no way in hell I'd ever meet with her in person, calling her was enough.

She told me to repeat PSYC 101 because it was one of my first college courses and I have a C in it and quite frankly, it's not even a requirement to get a C or better, it's all about the Sciences, so who cares. She just tries to discourage people and I'm glad to know people don't bother to listen to her.

I FINALLY have my pink card... I was cleaning out my husbands car, and I found it under the seat!! I can not believe he forgot to give it to me. Mine says late May, and I applied for the Evening and Weekend program at Essex. It seems we have at least another month to wait... :(

There is probably more than one person mailing out the pink cards. Last semester letters were sent out later than usual because of the change in the TEAS. Now with the online aps and the TEAS still being fairly new, my bet would be closer to Mid-May. I hope I am wrong! This wait is a killer! Especially since I just went through this last fall (for Spring 2011).

I feel for you. I am having such a hard time waiting. Can't imagine doing it twice. Hopefully you'll get better news this time around!

I got mine the same day my application showed "under review." That was at the end of March. You could call the SHP office and ask them if they received your application, at least they could reassure you.

Am I the only one having dreams of my application and the letter? :lol2:
