Hello Everyone,
Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.
For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).
GOOD LUCK!!!
LOL. Don't you just love unorganized teachers? My C is from taking it in the summer a few years ago and trust me, I had no interest whatsoever... not to mention, what's interesting about the history of Psychology? My class was a bore, too, no one was really engaged and the teacher just stood at the front of the room and talked. No interaction at all. I'm registered online with Alisa Diop (Catonsville) so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad. I love online classes, and upper level Psychology in general, so it should be an A for me.Thank you for the recommendation though! It really helps when people can recommend a good teacher. As for the other person who needs to take Micro again - I highly suggest Doug Meise at Dundalk. He'll explain something to someone a thousand times until they understand. His tests are straight from his outlines, and he's fair with grading.
Corrine, Diop is easy if you are a self starter. She doesn't respond to emails, but is a stickler to APA format for the research project. My grade was so high in her class all I needed on the final was a grade of 55% or better to get an A. My point is, don't count on any help from her in an on-line course if you need it.
Doug Meise is the man for Micro 230. If you want an A you can get it in his class. He teaches what you need to know and thats what is on his exams. He is by far the fairest grader I have had for a science class. He is teaching this summer too, although I don't recommend taking a science in the summer if you want an A. You will probably make a letter grade worth of simple mistakes due to the compressed class.
Speaking of books, does anyone have a MATH 153 (Intro to Statistics) book? I'm taking it this fall at Essex... unless I drop it to fully focus on A&P. I really think I should keep it registered though. I'm not sure who I'm taking it with since it still says TBA but it's on Saturday afternoons.
Thanks in advance!
Just a rumor, but I heard that not everyone's status has been changed yet. For everyone who's says "Accepted" what does it say above it? This is what mine says??????????
