Hello Everyone,
Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.
For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).
GOOD LUCK!!!
Sounds like they're going to be a lot of sad souls when the E/W letters go out. Only 40 spots to fill is going to make it harder to get in. I don't understand why they restrict you to applying to only one program. Seems as though a bunch of good candidates may be turned away. Should be able to have 1st choice, 2nd choice as an option. E/W and if not Day program. I know its not something that everyone can do, but missing the cut for E/W for 2 years in a row has to be confidence destroyer, even though you would have made it easily in to the Day program. Just a thought.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch.....:nuke:
Thought i would put this out there; last semester they found out on the Wednesday before theweek admissions told them hey would be mailing letters. This was on oct 10, the seat fee posted and it was 8 wks past the app deadline. Lol so maybe, maybe, maybe the seat fees will post sometimes this wk.
It was November 10th. I was at work, I didn't have a seat fee. I was hoping to at least make it on the wait list. On Nov 12th (my 5 year wedding anniversary), I was sick, my mother was in town, and my rejection letter came on this day. So, I was able to tell my husband, " happy anniversary! By the way, I am sick, I am not on the wait list, my mother is staying the night, and mother nature has paid me a visit!" LOL!!!! :rotfl: I must say, that was not a good anniversary.
Ksm84, that's what I'm thinking! :-D Seat fees always post a few days to a week before letters are sent out so if that's the case, it should be this week. I remember seeing somewhere the fees get posted in the late afternoon.
I think it's interesting that someone said they received a rejection letter but the office is telling people NO letters have gone out. :-( Has anyone heard of the statistics for this semesters applicants? Like the exact amount of applicants, how many were not eligible for admission, how many people didn't take the TEAS, how many applied to each specific program, etc. That would be interesting to know.

Dont expect anything this week. I called (couldn't help myself) and was told letters will not be going out until next week.
