CCBC, Fall 2011 Applicants =)

Published

Hello Everyone,

Here we go again! This is my second time applying to CCBC's nursing program. I look forward to chatting with everyone as we wait for the GOOD news! I believe things happen for a reason! I have good faith that Fall 2011 is going to be my turn for acceptance. I guess we will see if I am right.

For anyone who was not accepted this Spring, we can be a great support system for each other :).

GOOD LUCK!!!

:banghead:OMG! Ugh! My mother calls me everyday, "did you hear anything yet?" Anyone else hearing the same thing? It is driving me crazy! CCBC, will you send letters so I can stop getting phone calls (acceptance letters, of course).

I'm wondering what the other applicants (up to 500, right?) are doing during this period of "waiting". Is there another forum that they are hanging out in? How can they not be so anxious???

I agree! There are certainly enough people on campus that are anxious to know! :-D I find it funny when people say they're not anxious or they act all calm about it because I've been anxious since February when I submitted my application!

I think we should get "bonus points" for dedication. I have a final tomorrow and can't concentrate!!! Need to know that I was accepted!!

 When this is all over, who is joining Corrine and I for a drink?

Yea, really! It would be a packed bar with all of us! :-) Acceptance and rejection letters, all are welcome!

I have 2 papers to write and can't concentrate either!

I have a lab practical tonight and I for sure can't concentrate! :-) I guess it may help that I remember things from when I took Micro before, but still. I can't look at metabolism, plate count, and food analysis notes without getting mad about my application and that I'll never have to do any of these lab skills as a nurse!

Decisions are made. :yeah:

My status changed on Simon to "Decision made," and below it says, "Please Contact Admissions Office," where it says "Decision."

So it's over, everyone. Seat fees and letters should be around the corner!

I got in!!!!!!!! I'm so glad all my work finally paid off! Yes!
