Hey guys,
I am going out of my mind dealing with my BON.I called them to enquire about my candidate performance report;representative told me "your application is pending." I said " I should not have a pending application,I already took my exam." I was told that "the BON does not mail out candidate performance report,it's done by Pearson Vue.":uhoh3: Representative would not listen to a word I was saying, she hyng up after I told her that her info was incorrect. Spoke to the supervisor when I called back,to my surprise he knew nothing about the candidate performance report (cpr). Is that the correct name for it,or I was not providing the needed info? It should come from BON or Pearson Vue?
Thanks!
P.S. I have not had my results, but I had inconsistent results with Pearson Vue trick (allowed and prevented credit card page.)

I think your Candidate Performance Report is only available if you do not pass NCLEX. I would definitely wait for sure to see if you passed or not before inquiring about it. If you do indeed fail nclex, and I hope you do not, it is your SBON who sends you this information. It is sent to you along with your fail result in the mail about a month after you have tested. You can use the quick results option through PearsonVue if your state participates in this to see if you passed or failed exactly 48 hours after you completed you exam. There is a $8-10 fee for this feature.
Also, the pearsonvue trick seems pretty foulproof from what I have read and experienced myself. The fact that you say you have gotten two conflicting results leads me to believe that you did not initially do the trick correctly.
Hope this Helps!!

I would be interested in the official results.
Thanks for your replies! Well,it's official,"Near the passing standard" on each content area.Where do I start now? As aforementioned,in my previous post,I did not have the time to do many questions et cetera... I don't think being out of nursing school for 6 years is helping me either!!

Set yourself a study plan and keep to it. Keep practising questions and reading the rationales even if you get it right
Good luck

you did not read the pearson vue site very well....it states very clearly that only a performance report will be sent to people who DID not pass the test....so you needed to wait for your official results....not the trick.....i would of hung up on you to...the bon gets hundreds of calls regarding nclex results....just chill and sit back and relax......there are some things you just can not control....
recite this...
god grant me the serenity to accept the things i cannot change....

AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE....

It really sucks to be so close and not quite make it. I'm sorry
I definitely support what others have suggested. I did a few thousand questions over my prep period and really made a mindful attempt to successfully answer the questions, read the rationales and understand the concepts. Saunders and Kaplan study guides were really helpful.
I've also spoken to some real "characters" at the BON where I registered as well. I understand that it's a very busy time of year, but the rudeness was uncalled for. I was referred back to the website for information that was not updated and had to call back be passed along until I found someone who acknowleged the error. It's very frustrating and time consuming.
I wish you all the best in your prep for the next attempt
