Calling all Grand Canyon University Spring 2014 Hopefuls!!!

Hey all! I wanted to created this thread in hopes of finding other Grand Canyon University (GCU) Spring 2014 hopefuls!! I am about to apply for the Fast-track 16 month BSN as a second degree student, either at Scottsdale Healthcare or GCU campus. The deadline for applications are September 15th, 2013... just a couple months away. If you are applying or thinking of applying, please join in and lets get this thread started! :) :geek: :nurse:

I got in for AT STILL!!! Whoot whoot! I've been stalking this page the last few days to see if letters came in early, but didn't post anything just in case I didn't get accepted :)

Pre-req GPA: 3.3

TEAS: 98/87

No previous degree/hospital affiliation/medical background

SOOOOOOO EXCITED to get started and hope everyone gets good news today!

I got in at AT Still Fast Track!

My GPA is a 3.3 (with 3 classes still in progress)

Teas were both in the mid-upper 80's (can't recall exact numbers)

Not a current hospital employee, and no previous degree.

I have been in contact with GCU for about 2 years now - although this is my first time actually submitting an application, I've been talking to advisors since my first year of college.

I was going to submit for fall start (this year) but I took a semester off this spring, and talked to my advisor about it!

Anyone else at AT Still? Haven't seen any posts so far! Hoping to meet some other people!

I got my acceptance email for SHC!!!!!!! Yay!!!! Congrats to EVERYONE!!!!!! Looks like we all got into our desired programs :) Don't worry Mrs. Bond, you will get in! Let us know! I am so excited ladies and I bet you are all too!

We all worked so hard and now it is finally paying off! Congrats again to everyone! Nursing school will be even harder, but at least we will be doing what we are so passionate about!
