Are the rumors true of California mountain lions and shootings in Los Angeles? I wanted to serve one contract of travel nursing in California, but not if i'm going to get caught in a drive by I want no part of. I'll just assume that I didn't submit this earlier. On a side note check out the Netflix original love, but be cautious of the sexual content. It's suppose to be about dating life. You won't see breasts or anything.

Every time I visit California I barely make it out alive. With all the earthquakes and wildfires, the drive-by shootings and mountain lion attacks have been the least of my concerns. I'd steer clear of the entire state if I were you.

No, not a troll. Just someone whose posting style is a bit ADHD-ish.
i know you guys ain't talking trash about me, but typical. I have seen other posters get this kind of trash to. I'm not sweating it though because there is an easy way to deal with this and that is delete the account to this forum. FYI meanies finish last.

I guess you`could google how many nurses have been killed by mountain lions and in drive by shootings this year. I don't think you will get many hits.

Step One, get into a nursing program. Step Two, complete that program. Step 3, pass NCLEX. After all that is done, see if California's new grad glut will be a good idea for your career plans, aside from mountain lions and/or drive by shootings.

I don't know what this means, sorry.

California is my home state...I was visiting there at the beginning of this month. It has all that every person could ask for and more: beaches, mountains, desert, lakes, national parks, forests, farms, etc. It is a blend of urban, suburban, and deep rural.
Anyhow, this thread has outlived its usefulness. We wish the original poster the very best of luck with his schooling and career aspirations.
