Why don't you try checking to see if the state lists you with having a license?

I live in Wisconsin and that is how I found out I was issued a license....long before any test results were released by the testing facility or the state!

I didn't see where you could look up LPN licenses...but California lets you look up RN licenses.

I took the NCLEX on April 7th. I got my results one day shy of three weeks. Many of my classmates have taken the exam and it has averaged three weeks. Good Luck.

Go to the bvnpt website and click on license verfication and check there..You will get your results faster like that than in the mail..

Sorry, but not with CA. You have not paid for your license when you take the exam, CA has you pay for it after you pass the NCLEX-PN exam, so you will not see your name on the website if you have not paid for it.

Well that certainly BITES!

Here in Wisconsin, I noticed that my new LPN license is due for renewel on April 30, 2007. I thought that rather strange since I just recieved it this week....but come to find out Wisconsin has LPN's renew on the "odd" years and RN licences on the even years. So next April I will have to renew my LPN license May 1st...graduate (hopefully) the RN program at the end of may and take the RN state boards by June or July...and that license will be due for renewel the following April! So if all goes well, I will be paying the state money for licenses once in 2006, twice in 2007 and then again in 2008!

I really can't let my LPN license lapse because I am working as an LPN.....so that seems like it will be alot of money wasted!

But that is not as ridiculous as wanting to pay Pearson $7.95 just to see the word "PASSED" when I know that I already have a license number assigned to me! Will the testing facilities results only list Pass or Fail....or will they give a "report" on how you did on the test (as in areas strong or weak)?

It took me about 4 weeks to get my letter saying i passed. Then you pay your money and it takes another 2 weeks to get on the website, and then a couple more to get your license. I passed in february of last year and I ended up not working until april because the place that hired me required I have my license in hand.

Nikilaughs,

It normally take about four to six weeks for test results, and another three weeks for the actual licence to come in the mail. I whish you the best of luck.

I took the NCLEX-PN on December 28 and received the passing letter in the mail on January 9. I mailed my $100 check into the BVNPT and, on January 20, my name appeared as a licensee on the BVNPT's online verification site.

Oh, I stand corrected..I am taking the NCLEX for the first time in two weeks..I am sorry for the wrong info

OMG, I took my NCLEX PN on July 12th and I still haven't gotten my results!!:o I am just beside myself, I feel like I'm going to lose my mind!! I called the board and they told me they processed my results Aug 2nd but depending upon what time of day they processed them will depend on when they were mailed out! I have friends who have gotten results in 23 days (passing and failing) 19 days (passing) 2 weeks (failing) so there is no estimated time frame for whether you pass or fail!! My test shut off at 85, I've been told that this was a good thing. When I took it I kept getting easy then hard and harder questions. I had alot of "check all that apply" questions which I am hoping were the "practice" questions. I seemed to have gotten more of these than my friends. Anyone know if any of this means anything or could possibly mean anything signifigant? Please, I would really appreciate any type of feedback. I keep praying (the whole time I was taking the test, although I did pray for the minimum amount of questions :lol2:) Thanks!

Just for those who are interested: My results still didn't come today although a girl from my class, who lives in the SAME CITY I do, who was at the center taking her test the SAME TIME I did, got hers TODAY!! She passed, bless her heart, but how does this happen?? Why am I forever going to be stuck in this endless sea of the unkown, is this someone's sick sense of humor??
