california nclex LVN takers

did anyone recently take nclex LVN in california? 2, how long did you wait to get your result in the mail. i tested this tuesday and i have been calling tthe BON and the lady told me i have to wait 4-6 weeks.:idea:

The LVN board is short staffed like any other state run agency....They are doing the best they can as for as processsing stuff.

DO you really think it takes that long. I took my test on 08/10/06, and shut off at 85 too. I got alot (bout 6) "all that apply" questions. I was told that the first 85 are all accountable questions, and anything after that have the "practice" questions that can be thrown out. I thought that there was to be 65 real questions and 20 "practice" questions. Not practice questions like warm up but practice as in the board is trying them out. I was praying as well and knew that I was going to shut off at 85, so I wasnt surprised. So keep in faith there is a plan for you and God Bless.

Hi there, I took mine in February and had to wait three weeks. Unfortunately we cannot get results online like most states. The wait is terrible. I wish you luck. Take care.

Good Luck!! You know, I don't care that the state is short staffed! :angryfire Why don't they hire more employees especially since we have a nursing shortage going on!! Wouldn't that make more sense?? I have been waiting now 7 days for my license number to show up on the website, I sent in my $100 overnight on Aug 9th. Thanks to our wonderful mail system, I got my money back since it didn't get there until the 11th. I called them on Tues, 15th only to be told that it takes 7-10 days to process it?? Hello?? I got it to them in 2 days!! What are they doing with it, sitting on it until they are good and ready to process it?? And then, I was told that it would be another 3-7 days before it was posted to the website!! OMG, could this state be any slower?? And you know, if it was something (especially monetary) that was needed from you, you better believe that it would be taken yesterday!!

I tood my California NCLEX-PN on 8/14 and got my results yesterday 8/28. Two weeks exactly it came in the mail. Good luck.

I got my results in exactly two weeks, but I took mine in the " off season" I took the NCLEX in April, not over the summer when lots of other people at taking the test. Remember there are only about 5 people working at the BVNPT and this time of year they have TONS of results, transcripts, and payments to process. Be patient...and Good Luck
