California board requires obstetric hours. Where can I sit a short course?

Hi All,

i am an Australian RN with a bachelors degree. I've held a license in Canada which is currently expired and I also hold a license in New York and a license in Washington state ( where I am currently practicing).

Ive been offered a job in Californka pending my license being approved. Because I did my schooling in Austrlaia I had to complete the international verification breakdown of educational requirements form. I meet all the requirements except obstetrics Theory and hours.

Does ra anyone know where I can go to complete these requirements? Either in California or Washington state? Has anyone got any experience dealing with this and how did you find the information?

Any my help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello I am desperately trying to apply for a RN licence from the state of Georgia.after several months of my app, I am now required to take courses in OBS AND PEAD before allowed to sit for the Nclex.I am a UK trainedelivery nurse and would be grateful if anyone else can point me to a college that offers this short courses. I spoke wity my analyst before. He said that it is ok to make up the deficiencies within the US as long as the program is approved by the governing state. you can take it in texas

Is is true that you can take your deficiencies out of state like Texas as long as it is ACEN Aprroved and on the Texas Board of Nursing approved list?
