  1. Off topic a little bit, do you guys have any idea what kind of charting system do they use?
  2. Hi there can I send you a pm? Thanks!
  3. I heard big city hospitals doesn't hire newly passed nurses. You can go to hospitals that are located outside the big city. That's what I did.
  4. I'm Filipino too and been a nurse for more than 4 years.
  5. as a urology nurse I can relate. happened 1 time to me.
  6. I cant do method 3 yet as i only have 41mos of working inpt exp. Was hoping i could do endorsement since im an rn to another state.
  7. Im an RN in Texas and wanting to apply LVN in Cali. Should I apply by application by licensure(method 3) or endorsement? Which one would be the best for me? Thank you all. I'm a foreign graduate and already tried to endorse my license to cali and got a letter about deficiency which probably you all know about.
  8. I'm a RN from Texas and was wondering if i could take these deficiencies here in Texas instead of going to school in California? Thank you.
  9. Ms Joy please check your inbox. Thank you.
  10. Thank you. I guess i dont have a choice but to go there and study.
  11. I just got letter from the bon saying i need to go to school again to complete the said courses. My question is how to find nursing schools in cali? I cant find nursing schools on their website or im not looking hard enough. Lol Now my coworker told me about excelsior which is like online courses, i was wondering if i could just do this option rather than going there. Im a foreign grad(ph) currently working as an RN in Texas and they gave me 3 yrs to complete it. Thank you. And also can i just get it completed here in Tx?
  12. Even if I finish my 2 weeks notice? The unit is great but I feel like I'm not getting enough experience or challenged compared to my previous job. I went from level 1 trauma hospital to level 4 although I don't work in ER or any trauma unit but I do have plans to become ICU nurse maybe this year or next.
  13. Hi good day to you all. Here's my problem, I left my job almost a month ago thinking I would be contented on my new job (Med Surg unit too). It doesn't work out for me, I feel like the unit is not for me. You could say my decision was influenced but I don't blame the people around me. I'm still on orientation and have 2 more weeks left, and I'm willing to finish my 2 weeks notice if they would ask me to. I already talked to my previous manager and she said I can comeback anytime I want to. Now, I'm ready to turn in my two weeks notice and lots of people are asking why as they think I'm doing good on my new job. I just wanted to know your opinion guys and we're talking about state hospital that I'm about to leave. I'm afraid that I'm burning bridges on what I am about to do and I'm afraid about the repercussions that may affect me in the future. I'm a 3yo Med Surg nurse. Thank you and have a good day.
  14. Updates: I am official RN now! Wohoooo.... Thank you for all your support guys! Wish you all the best!!
