Why some applicants got their att or endorsement rn license even their or/dr cases were not concurrent??? Should i send an appeal and tell ca brn with their names and why is like that???

This is crazy. Please advice. Thanks. :(

You're kidding right?! You want to mess with somebody else's life? Are you serious?

Hi! My friend was recently in a similar situation. Me and my other classmates have all been approved except for him because supposedly of the concurrency cases, which was impossible as we completed them together. What he did was call the BON (you have to keep calling as press the right number to speak to a rep - it will either 1) say there are too many callers and hang up. if does that then just keep calling until 2) it says you're on hold and just wait.) if you have received a letter from the BON, it is signed by your case manager. when someone answers the phone, ask to be transferred to your case manager (name) and you should be able to speak to them or leave a message. explain the situation and ask them to review your documents. You can also say that you can send your classmates cases to prove to them that yours are pretty much the same. After doing this, my friend was finally approved. Don't give up hope and keep trying.

Thanks. But how am I suppose to justify my application if my cases were not concurrent? I graduated 2009 :(

Of course not. I'm not that desperate to drop their names or what. What I'm saying is why they are like that?????? I don't understand how they eval our application and not fair to everyone????

This is what I'm responding to.

At any rate, sorry for your difficulties and that I have no advice for you.

What is this????

The CA BRN is not unfair at all, they are merely enforcing the concurrency rules established in 1987 that applies to each and every applicant wanting to be licensed in CA, whether you are a CA resident, out of state person or international. Every application must meet the minimum standards.

The blame goes to the CHED, PRC and PNA who simply ignored the CA policies for many many years.

The other major blame belongs to the previous PH nurses and grads who lied and cheated their way to get thru the CA BRN with falsified documents that were simply purchased.

That's why the CA BRN evaluators are going thru all the applicants with PH degrees under the microscope and a fine tooth comb. It was awhile under the prior investigation that the analyst found the concurrency issues.

Just so you know there's another thread I started whereby the CA BRN put 7 of the guilty kababayans in a CA jail. They are investigating more I'm sure as we speak, as the ring leader was a lady from the PH.

So you can be "thankful" for those selfish and greedy PH nurses that's caused several thousands of PH applicants unable to meet the CA BRN standards unless they can complete their deficiencies within the 3 year time limitation. This is in combination with the short mindness of the 3 major PH nursing agencies.

The seven lowlifes are just getting out of jail soon after serving nearly 3 years in the prison heaven.

I hope they lose their license forever and never ever able to practice nursing in any state as who knows what else they are willing to do to get ahead in life. Their behavior has zero excuses in my eyes and don't care whatever sorry stories they may have.

Here's that discussion: https://allnurses.com/international-nursing/use-fake-transcripts-929155.html

There was another 134 individuals that were under investigation back then and that number may have increased more since 2014.

So that's why all PH applicants are run thru the mega microscope and everyone's application is highly suspect.

In fact, if you know of any of these people that cheated and lied and got thru the CA BRN, those are the ones you can report without feeling any guilt at all.

Simply file a complaint with the CA BRN Enforcement unit (via on-line) and let them handle it, the more you can get removed, maybe that might help open up your chances to get that desired job. You can remain nameless as well.

Nothing wrong with that since I don't consider them "nurses" anyways. It doesn't matter if they have a family to support, they are just criminals in the real world.

Can you better explain your comment about "even their or/dr cases were not concurrent"?

Remember if they were pre-2005 grads it may not affect them at all. If they were post-2005 grads, maybe they really were concurrent?

One other possibility and some posters have mentioned it, that their schools "adjusted" (as in altered) their school documents to show they were "concurrent" but it didn't happen to them but rather their friend or a friend of a friend.

So you know that means? It means that some school official(s) may have been taking a bribe or offered "favors" to change the transcripts (so they are now concurrent), this only means they are willing to falsify documentation thus committing a fraudulent application in the process.

Whether you want to let the CA BRN know of certain individuals you know, it's totally up to you.

If you know they cheated and you decide to let it go and look the other way, then it's not the CA BRN at fault, but your's since you let them get their ATT or get the endorsement and you're going to suffer in silence.

They will get the chance to work and live in CA and maybe you'll not get so lucky and have to go thru the additional classes if you can get done before the 3rd year expiration date.

Yes, you can file an appeal but you need do so within one year of the CA BRN declination letter or you lose the right to appeal.

Good luck.
