BSN program @ UFV September 2014 Intake

Aww everyone who feels iffy should feel more positive! When I had mine on Friday, she said to me "you, like every other applicant who got an interview are here because we think that you're exceptional."

All of you "iffy" people who had an interview are fabulous! Otherwise you wouldn't have had one to begin with!! Try to relax for the next 3 weeks and start freaking out for the week following that, lol!

all you LPN's, I hope you all get a spot! Obviously there aren't that many spots but how many LPN access applicants in total with an interview?

So there were about 60 LPN applicants, 15 got interviews and only 8 get seats. :-)

And you'll know by the end of this week SilLPN? We (3 and 4 year applicants) still may have a month to go! I'm hoping that by some miracle we find out sooner, but am not counting on it...

Hey Meghan,

I haven't heard anything from school yet but I hope to hear good news next week :) This past week have been extra stressful for me knowing that I will find out THE result at anytime but over the long weekend, I guess I could put a pause on stressing out.

SiLPN, have you receive any email or a phone call from the school?

What statistics class is everyone enrolled in for the summer semester? I am in *** ** class on Mondays and Wednesdays (50129).

I received news from sister yesterday that I got a letter in the mail that says I have been accepted into UNBC for the fall. I am in Mexico still so not being able to physically see the letter is slightly nerve racking. However, I am still hoping that I get into UFV, it is definitely the preferred choice because I wouldn't have to relocate. My interview went well (or at least she said it did), it was about an hour long and she made me feel pretty comfortable, which was a bonus. She said I interviewed well a few times so I am hoping I will receive an acceptance letter, if I don't it will be because of my volunteer hours I think. Least there is a back up plan now! My interview was April 2nd so it will be a total of 6 weeks of waiting, pure torture!!

Kbevans: congrats on your acceptance letter at UNBC! At least now you know that FOR SURE you will be a nurse in 4 years. That's exciting!!!! Enjoy the rest of your stay in Mexico

Congrats kbevans56 that's awesome!! At least now you have a solid back up plan either way.

I have had 2 VERY vivid dreams where I was accepted into the program (yah, its pretty much all I think about).

Premonition? I hope so!!

Don't know why but the wait is so much worse this time around.

Sign into myufv, click New Applicant Information, Click Fall 2014 and you should see an application summary. The box "Decision" will say "under review by program" and your waiting for it to hopefully change to "conditionally accepted"

Neverland, when I click fall 2014, it just goes to a page where I go to apply for the program. There is no summary option. I'm wondering if I'm not set up as an applicant on the website, oh no!

Hey Guys good news! I got in!!! Its just surreal right now. Like its crazy to think that in two years I could be done and working as an RN! Eeeek ^_^ All you guys hang in there. Its rough waiting but there's hope!
