  1. I graduated in 2012, so 2 years ago. I applied with 90 volunteer hours, and 3 A's and 1 B. I think my interview/essay helped a lot and I also had some personal experience taking care of family members with illnesses that I talked about in my interview. Your grades sound awesome as long as everything else goes well and you get more volunteer hours it should be easy sailing for you!
  2. Yes, this was my first time applying :)
  3. DOes anyone want to make the page? I tried, but I am not very good with the whole facebook thing..
  4. Would anyone want to be involved in a facebook group?
  5. I am hoping for the 3 year.. Geez im excited to get the package. So glad the waiting is over!
  6. No mine did not, it said I would receive more information in a couple weeks. Did you request the 3 year?
  7. To everyone who didn't get in, don't give up! All good things are worth waiting for! Has anyone else received an acceptance letter?
  8. Ya no doubt! Thankfully my boyfriend works out of town so he just rents, and he rents wherever I go which is a bonus because I can just stay with him. If I were renting myself (due to school fees) it would most likely be cardboard box .. So that's a perk! I have been checking out places up there and compared to the lower mainland the options are limited, but I think I will be driving up in a few weeks (if I don't get into UFV) to check out the town and some places, I've never been and I figure it wouldn't hurt to go check it out!
  9. I had a 93% in Eng 12, Bio 12 86%, Chem 083 A, and Math 11 83%. Apparently on the letter it says what the lowest GPA was that got accepted but I haven't actually seen it, still on my vacation but will be home tonight to see it.
  10. Awesome :)! Are you going to be renting a place or living on campus somewhere? I hope I get into UFV, because moving for me would be a huge adjustment, but I gotta do what I gotta do!
  11. Thanks gg1234! I also heard back from Kwantlen and unfortunately I am waitlisted.. It wasn't much of a surprise to me because they only let in 16 applicants in, but I applied anyways just in case (and their application process is super easy so it took no time at all!) But that was why I also applied to UNBC, in case I got rejected everywhere else. The lady said my interview went really well so I am hoping it is enough to pull through (I only have 100 hrs of volunteer). I am checking my applicant status everyday even though I know its not going to change for awhile It would be nice to know before May 15th so I can give my notice at the place I am living and start looking for a new place closer to the school I go to.
  12. Jade00: Have you been accepted to UNBC? I got an acceptance letter a week ago and in case I don't get into UFV I am hoping to know someone before I go to a foreign town!
  13. I have been accepted into the UNBC Prince George campus. However, I am still hoping to get into UFV, least I have a back up plan now!
  14. whoops! and thank you everyone for the congrats!
