Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Has anyone ever heard of anyone getting in with a 2.5 gpa? I have a 3.0 overall....I know not the best. But my program gpa that they use is a 2.5. Will I be wasting my time and money by applying? I am so discouraged....

Hello everyone! I took the hesi last week got a 92 overall score and a 3.7 gpa. I submitted my application on Sept 2nd and today my points were updated.I Received 13 points though my Hesi nor math were updated. Jescica said they will start emailing next week And the orientation is sometime in October.

Points are not awarded for HESI or MAC, only pre-requisite GPA.

I submitted my application on Sept 2nd and today my points were updated.I Received 13 points though my Hesi nor math were updated. Jescica said they will start emailing next week And the orientation is sometime in October.

Review of applications will start mid September. We do not anticipate decisions going out until the end of September.

omg, next week ! thats so soon I cant wait for the email. congrats on your score and gpa i received 12 points with a 3.6 gpa. soo excited .

Decisions will not go out until closer to the end of September. The review of applications will begin late next week.

I am loosing my mind waiting for the email. Lol. I'm afraid my GPA isn't high enough. I have a 2.72 GPA I have seen on previous discussion that people have got in with lower but I'm still awfully nervous about not getting in. Does anyone know my chances of getting in with my GPA??
