Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Emails won't go out until closer to the end of September.

Yayy! I applied the beginning of Sept. I took the Hesi on Sept 4.. scored an overall of 85.. my lowest section was an 80 and the highest a 96.. my GPA is a 3.0.. so was only awarded 6 points.. I hope to get in the January class at south.. I live very close to that campus and have taken the majority of my classes there. I wish everyone the best of luck.. I'm soooo nervous. I've been checking my emails several times a day.. I thought that they started taking apps in aug.? I see that some of you submitted apps way before then! I was told by central admissions that they were sending out emails this week but, someone else said that we won't get anything until late sept. My status is saying "in review" any word yet?

Late September is when they will update the application status and send the email the will start reviewing the applications this week. I'm nervous, I really hope I get in good luck. I hope to see you at orientation

Thanks. I wouldn't have to turn in my transcripts since the classes I'm taking are at Broward and all my pre reqs I've tooken were also at Broward.

Hey Melanie, thanks for input, I'm soooo nervous but, guess what I found out today? My GPA is 3.2 but I was only awarded 6 points I called south nursing advisor and she confirmed that it was a mistake.. she said that she was going to contact administration and for me to call her Monday# As we know they do processing on Fridays so, they are probably making selections tomorrow. I HOPE THEY CATCH THE ERROR! I got 2 A's in a&p ll an B&C in a&p l and a B in eng which balances out to a 3.2 . THANK GOODNESS I CAUGHT IT I can use the extra points.

Hello Everyone, I attended the information session in central campus today with Dr. Johnson; She is the associate dean for central campus. She said the orientation for students that have been accepted into the program has been scheduled for October 15th emails should go out by the end of the month. All you have to do is attend. They will provide all the information that you would need to complete before a certain date.

yeah the wait is killing me i am praying the emails go out next week im sure they are reviewing apps today since its friday if i had to guess i would say we should know by next week friday the 25th. I hope to see you all GOOD LUCK.

Im so excited!! Do we know times for orientation. Im anxious to get all these certification hours we need done before we start in January... But I read in sat forums not to do anything until you get specific directs at orientations....

IS anyone applying for Online program or is everyone doing face to face ???
