Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

That isn't a reason to not go..going to school isn't easy but that's no excuse to not pursue your dreams. I can hardly wait for the acceptance email--yeah probably struggling throughout the program, but in the end persevering through it and coming out on top. If you want something bad enough, you'll get it.

My sister and I put our application in the 17th of August. I can't wait to get in lol. We are hoping for central but south would be fine as well. We stay like 15 min from South but 30 from Central. We've taken all of out classes at Central though .

Hi I was wondering how do they calculate your gpa? I've been getting the run around.

2.5 = 1

2.6 = 2 .......

3.9 = 15

4.0 = 16

the gpa is calculated solely off your pre reqs, AP I&II w/ Labs and English 1.

The Point system is broken down:

4.0- 16pts

3.9- 15 pts

3.8- 14 pts

3.7- 13pts

3.6 12 pts..... and so on.
