Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

I went spoke with Nicole today and she said I was going to be totally fine with my GPA and that they are going to send out the "acceptance" letter in a few weeks ..... It doesn't take a genius to get in the program it takes one to stay in it... Is any one applying for the online hybrid program?

Hey guys!!

My limited access application finally updated and i was received 12 points but it still says N/A for my hesi scores and my college math course..has this happened to anyone else? I'm getting nervous that I was only ranted 12 points, do you think I'm alright?

yes, its fine. i went and had a face to face with nicole today. If you have more then 10 points you should be golden....like i said its not a hard program to get into, just hard to stay in.

My last pre req I need is a math which I'm taking now the statistics class. It ends on October 15 I don't know if I can apply or if I have to wait I until grades go in October. I'm so upset I want to be able to apply now. I'm scared all the spots will be taken.

You can't apply until all grades are in and Nichole said they are sending out acceptances starting at the end of September. I would definitely still hand in your app once you complete everything and maybe there will still be spots. Good luck!

My application is in review with 12 points awarded as well. My hesi exam says N/A as well too but on the side there is a green check mark saying that the requirement is met. Ugh i cant take this waiting. I shouldn't freak out b/c students have been accepted with lower points but i wanna know LOL

I agree too, I would still turn my application in now. And as soon as grades are posted have your transcripts sent right over , a few spots will probably still be open. Good Luck !
