Broward College Nursing January 2016

Published

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Good luck :)

Hey Diana I already put my application in last tuesday but since its late it possible I might be consider for January 2016 instead of august 2015. I finish all my pre-req this summer currently just taking course that require for the AA. I'm doing syg2000, enc 1102, geography and Functional wellness for august if I don't get a status change by then. I'm Akeyla btw and I'm glad there's someone else for Jan 2016 :)

Hey, I'm Sara! I'm finishing up college algebra here in August and then I'll be applying in January. What campus?

Hey Sara, I was thinking either South or Central, I'm 15 mins away from both lol so idk just yet. What campus are you thinking about?

Hey! Central or south for me too. I'm so ready to just finish and apply already lol

Lol yea but the waiting part is what's killing me now lol

I can imagine. I'm just here freaking out about my GPA and the HESI that I'm taking on July 31st. It's literally all I can think about lol

Well the Hesi wasn't as hard as people make it out to be Lol I got a 84 overall and I just glance at the practice book the day I took the test. I know if I studied more I would've got higher so don't stress out about it. As long as your GPA is over 2.5 then I think you should be good.

Which practice book did you get?

Hey, I also finish my pre reqs this summer then I will take my HESI in August and put in my application. I am still going to take a couple extra classes in August to work towards my bachelors after the ASN program.

Hey, Sara I'm Diana. I am planning on either Central or south as well. Preferably Central since I've heard better reviews with their program. Also the Central campus looks prettier and cleaner.

Which practice book did you get?

I used McGraw-Hill's 3 Evolve Reach (HESI) A2 practice tests and Elsevier Hesi Admission assessment, you don't even have to buy them I checked it out at the library. But if you going to use the library then you should put them on hold now so they can be here and have enough time to study.
