Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Hey, Sara I'm Diana. I am planning on either Central or south as well. Preferably Central since I've heard better reviews with their program. Also the Central campus looks prettier and cleaner.

Yea I was thinking that too and I heard they have a new nursing lab that they just opened. But then I like that South goes to Memorial Hospital for clinicals lol I'm soo confused.

I forgot her name... but is an advisor at central campus.. she also said that the health core class is not required anymore! So thats good.

Oh I know about the Health Core Class is not require already. But I email Nicole from central campus who we turn the nursing application to about the new pre-reqs and this is what she emailed back

"No we have not been made aware of any changes. I have confirmed before with the Associate Deans that they were not changing anything for the upcoming year. However, if changes are made, we will post them."

Just relax and don't stress out about it because its not as hard as everyone make it seem. Use McGraw-Hill's 3 Evolve Reach (HESI) A2 practice tests and Elsevier Hesi Admission assessment to study.

I use some websites online for practice tests, plus that book to study. I also downloaded an app on my phone called "HESI A2 Exam Prep 2015" and it's so convenient and I love it. I use it for a couple hours a day when I'm not doing anything. Try it out!
