  1. Hi, I just accepted a job offer on a floor like this. What do you recommend since you’ve been working there?
  2. Yea I haven't heard anything yet either. I wish I get that email so at least ill know. But yeah I still be on the look out because it's not over until sept 13 but I'll still do other hospitals like before
  3. That's awesome and congratulations
  4. Sorry I thought this was for me lol
  5. No nothing yet. We still have time though 09/13/19 is the last day. The hurricane probably took some time away.
  6. No don’t get discouraged just stay positive and your time will come.
  7. I picked Peds as my top three tracks. Now I’m thinking I should have chosen a med-surg or something. But I haven’t received any email or call from them yet.
  8. Hello, I applied for the November Cohort. Today they supposed to start interviews or calling for interviews. My status still say application being reviewed. What were you guys top three tracks
  9. No I'm in 5th semester. We just got them at the bookstore so they may implement it.
  10. Hey the college of nursing change their names. So the bookstore have new patches they not the same as before. I don't know if the Uniform of America have the new patches
  11. No the PowerPoint & Recording is the best tool for test. The book is only for when you missed something in the lecture or need to really look up a term or something. All u need is the PowerPoints and recordings.
  12. Those are group projects and writing paper classes. Then the last one is Math just use the book and practice the problems and you should be fine.
  13. First off Lyons & Mcnally are wonderful instructors and will lecture in a way that you will learn and understand the material. But I would read the summary of the chapter before lecture. Print out the PowerPoint and take notes in class. I don't know if it changed but they let us record, so I would record the lecture. After lecture either by myself or with my study group I would talk about what we learn or write it out. The next day I will sit listen to the recordings and write notes on my print out. It took hours because u had to pause, listen rewind etc but I made it where it was in my own words and I understood the material. If I didn't know or was confused on something I go to the book/ watch videos or texted Lyons or McNally depending on if I'm studying for anatomy or physiology. But the one thing that helped a lot is going to the LES session even if you passed the exam they are very useful. Also saving the clicker questions to practice with. It seems like a lot of timed spent but it worked for me. I worked three days out the week and still end up with an A. So it's just time management and finding what works for u. Hope this helped and good luck !
  14. You won't be able to see the real syllabus until the professor post it on Blackboard. Just login on to see if they post it on there. It will be your username and password for sharklink
