Broward College Nursing January 2016

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Hey all! I am new to this thread and I am also trying for jan. I got 10 pts in total and 88.8 on the hesi. Hopefully that enough to make in. Just wondering what campuses you all hope to get into? What have you heard as far as which campus is the better one? Trying to decide between central and north if I do get in. Would love your guys feedback.

Welcome!! :) I have heard that North is easier than Central. But I am still sticking to Central just because it's soo close to me.

I'm hoping for central as well but south is closer to me so either one would be okay for me but fingers cross I get the email. Good luck guys

This is crazy! I just spoke to someone that says she is taking her Hesi next week Tues. And that admissions told her that it is not to late for her to turn in her app for January because they won't be making any decisions before then. So, next the is the 29 and the said we would know by 15 now the end of the month. I thought they started making decisions last week..had I known I would have studied for Hesi an extra week to get better scores.

Thanks all for the replies! It is greatly appreciated! This wait is crazy. I just want to know already either way so that plans can be adjusted if necessary. Goodluck to us all! Jessica told me and write2 diego the same thing. She said it would be at the end of the month but I'm starting to doubt that.

Decisions will be out by September 30. Decisions were never scheduled to go out by September 15; that is when we began reviewing the applications. We are currently in the process of reviewing the applications for the January pool.

Thanks for the clarification.. I think we are all very antsy because I was personally told by qn admission advisor to check my email on the 15th and all throughout that week. So, every hour I am checking for any changes because I don't want to miss any deadlines.

Now my application status has changed from "in review" to "Pre Admission". Does this mean decisions were made already?

Pre-admission means you got in.
