Broward College Nursing January 2016

Published

Hey everyone, I'm applying to the nursing program for January 2016 at Broward College. I guess this will be the official thread for the January 2016, Broward college nursing students; since no one has made one yet. Who else is applying for this term and what courses do you have remaining to finish pre reqs? I'm currently enrolled in A&P 2 lecture and lab and also a math class which are the last two courses I need to apply. I finish the classes in August yayyy :)

Good luck :)

My gpa 2.72 and my hesi score is like 88 I don't remember I'll check and let you know

Mine still says application in review😩

When did you turn yours in?

I was rolled over from the Fall 2015 applicant pool.

My sister and I turned ours in at the same exact time and she has no update.

Her gpa is 3.0

Congrats! What was your GPA and HESI? I thought the admissions was rolling- wouldn't we have been the first applications they reviewed?

Thats so strange- I don't know how they are doing this. My friend and I applied June 24 and have not heard anything...

I got in with a 3.0 GPA and 92 Hesi overall.

Awesome! Hopefully its just taking long to change everyone's status online. I should be fine I have a 3.55 GPA and a 96 HESI overall. Just hate this waiting game! What campus do you want to attend?

I applied to the January 2016 nursing program as well at Broward College in the last week of June. My status still says "application in review". I was originally hoping on applying to the August 2015 program, but it was already full by the time I turned in my application. I completed all the pre reqs with a gpa of 2.8 and my HESI scores were in the upper 80's -90's in the required sections on my 1st attempt. The clinical portion of the program is all I need to complete, because I already completed a AA degree. Hopefully my gpa and HESI scores are enough to get me accepted.

Everyone has to complete the program with the same courses. Your AA is separate from the AS degree we will earn. I have a bachelors degree which doesn't really count at all for the nursing program. Best of luck, hopefully we all find out soon!

I'm soooo scared I see Melonie got a status change and her sister didn't also Kevin93 got accepted with the same GPA I have but there are people with higher GPA's that haven't heard yet.. to make it scarier some of the people who are accepted turned in apps later. Wow.. I wonder how they are doing this.. I hope the statuses are just slow..
