Anyone applying for Fall 2019? I know it seems far away, but the application is due the end of Feb. It is best we begin to prepare now, especially those who need immunizations.
I need:
Critical thinking exam.
Retake Hesi for a higher competitive score.
Dosage calculations workshop.
I'm taking Chem 1405 and Phil 2306 this fall and Pharma in winter.

Good job! That means you only missed 2 questions out of 100! So how should we print the results? He hasn't submitted our grades to print from the transcript in ecconnect. If we print from ecampus, are not names are visible so how can they tell who the grade belongs to?
I got a 99! That hour beforehand really made it a lot easier. I just hit "Control and P" with my grade on the screen. I, too, still have to get my last hep B shot. I want to wait as long as possible to get my titers checked... wish I'd jumped on that a while ago!
I still have to do the HESI. I'm going on the 12th for that. Gotta get studying! I've been working with apps so far but did buy a prep book. Anyone else still have to take the HESI?

That's a good question. I might email him and ask? If we print the results and include it in our packet, I'm sure they'll pull up our transcripts and verify the grades.
Also, I heard another student say that they're not counting pathophysiology towards our points?? That doesn't make sense because it's on the ranking for admission sheet for 1 point. Has anyone else heard this?

Good job! I hope you titer positive! I'm going to the campus on Monday to get my last hep B shot from Mildred and to sign up for the HESI. I bought the study book and downloaded the study app and those are helping. The HESI is easy, but it's been over 10 years since I've gone over some of the stuff on here...especially in the grammar section - I remember sitting there like "wtf is a dangling modifier?!"). The first time I took it, my A&P section focused mainly on the urinary and endocrine system. Math, vocab and reading were all pretty straightforward and simple.
Damn, I didn't know I could get the shots from Mildred. I'm paying a good bit of money for them! Are you doing the twinrix accelerated dosing of Hep A & Hep B? If you're having your last shot Monday, when will you get the titers and does she do that, too? I'm just wondering how long to wait to get those done. If the titers aren't where they need to be, I think you can get a booster but I don't know the timing on that. Would you ask Mildred how long to wait to get the titers after you get your last shot? Thanks!

I had a negative titer in June 2017 when they drew my pre-chemo labs, so I had a bit of an advantage with taking care of the required shots in time for application. I had the 3 shots when I was a baby, but apparently that only lasts about 20 years... I had a booster in September and titered negative again, so I had to complete the series. Something about the CDC requiring a total of 6 immunizations if the one booster doesn't work? (from my understanding, if you titer negative and had the shots as a baby, you just need to complete a second series rather than booster over and over again (poor immune system!)
I was told that after I complete the series for the second time (1st when I was a baby, 2nd now) I wont have to titer. Some people's bodies just won't convert. After you receive the shot, you have to wait 7-8 weeks to titer.

I didn’t hear this. I believe that is incorrect. Email him ask. I emailed him and he said just print from the my grades page. But i expressed to him this doesn’t include our name so how will they know the score belongs to us?
