Anyone applying for Fall 2019? I know it seems far away, but the application is due the end of Feb. It is best we begin to prepare now, especially those who need immunizations.
I need:
Critical thinking exam.
Retake Hesi for a higher competitive score.
Dosage calculations workshop.
I'm taking Chem 1405 and Phil 2306 this fall and Pharma in winter.

Hi there! I am also applying next February for Fall 2019 entry (hopefully!). I am in A&P 2 right now and am taking the critical thinking exam tonight (tomorrow is the last day to take it so I will retake it again in February if I don't do well). I also need to take the HESI still and am not sure when I will be doing that. I am signed up to take Microbiology next spring so this will not count towards my points unfortunately, but hopefully that won't count too much against me! Have you taken micro? Are you going to take the nursing patho course?

I am planning on applying in February for Fall 2019. I am currently enrolled in Micro, pathophysiology, pharmacology and ethics. After this semester I will have completed all of the pre-requisite and support courses! I took my HESI and the Critical thinking exam last week and did pretty well on both. Now I just need to get my Hep B booster and titer done, take the dosage calculations course/exam and I should be good to apply!

Hello everyone! my name is Jennifer, I am also applying for the Fall 2019 nursing program. I have finished all of the requirements for the nursing program so if anyone has questions about anything at all I would be happy to help :) also how many points is everyone applying with?
Can you please tell us about the dosage cal class? What book can I buy now to prepare for the class? Good luck!
Can you tell us about the dosage cal class?
once you sign up for the dosage cal class there will be a practice exam sheet on ecampus, my best advice is to print that out and study it, the exam is very similar to it. Also the professor will answer some of the questions from the practice exam an hour before the test. There is a book for this class I rented it on amazon but never used it because I just used the practice exam.

how was the critical thinking exam? did you complete the CPR? I tried to add both classes on econnect but they were unavailable.

Hello,
I am applying for Brookhaven but not sure if I will be considered. I have done the prereqs but I am not taking The RSNG support classes until January. I am taking the Hesi Dec. 17. The Dosage class has been registered. I will take the test in January. Not sure how to begin calculating my points. I work for THPG ortho clinic so I believe that gives me additional points. I am also applying with Mountain View. Best wishes to you all.
I went to CPR Class, CPR Class near me, BLS, AHA, CPR, First Aid, Instructor Classes, Daily 214-592-7
Do you think I should take advantage of all 3 attempts? I'm ready to register for the Dosage Cal. workshop and the first date is 12/16 to go to campus for testing/tutoring. I work Friday night and Saturday night and will be so tired to go to campus on Saturday after a 12 hour night shift. I'm thinking about registering and just take the last two attempts at the campus in January and February. I guess my question is, is it possible to pass on the first attempt? How HARD is the dosage cal. class?
I just finished Chem 1405 with a B. So that completes all required prerequisites for me. I'm taking Pharmacology in the winter.
