I know this is a short one, but I read it on imdb.com today that she is demanding background checks for the nurses helping her delivery. First Kylie Minogue, and now this. man, I've always hated celebrities.

Another thought on where Brit would have her baby...........in her private airplane high in the sky where papparazzi couldn't get to them. If I owned a plane and wanted to avoid papparazzi at any cost, that's where I'd give birth to my baby, then fly to some undisclosed Island to recoup. :)

All she has to do is ask administration if background checks are required before employment and if the answer is no....go somewhere else. She should be told it is a mandatory requirement for employment and no one is hired if this is not supplied. You are correct. Celebrities......help us all.

Hope this isn't stupid but... why would anyone, much less a celebrity, want an elective c-section? I thought your body was more likely to go back to its pre-pregnancy shape if you had a vag birth?
I've heard women will do this to keep their lady partsl opening from being altered (that's the clean term for it). :)

He was a licensed registered nurse who had moved there from another state. The hospital supposedly DID a background check on him PRE-employment, too. Come to find out, he was a murderer/molester with a record, NOT a nurse, and working under a fake name. So, to save money, are background checks NOT being done by the hospitals and they are just saying they did them? Obviously they are NOT all "crime proof" or that man would not have gotten in the hospital. I'm sure there are numerous cases of staff being hired that have criminal backgrounds on record with the law that the employer has yet to learn of.
I've got to say, that girl is a talentless wonder...if it weren't for the fact that she is shoved in your face nearly everywhere you go, I'd have no idea who she is.

The hospital should be closed down after the successful lawsuit involving the child molester. The hospital involved committed gross negligence and some attorney shoud have had a field day with this. I would even say the hospital committed INTENT and responsible parties serve time in a federal prison.

You'd think, huh. That hospital is a large hospital and still very much in business. The guy is probably serving time. I don't know the outcome of his trial.
I'm so sure that many criminals are working in respectable jobs and nobody has a clue what they've done, and/or who they really work beside all the time. There is no certain look to a criminal......as our society has proven time and time again with the "uppercrust" arrest that occur all the time.
I'm so sick of Britney Spears. Ever since she flipped off fans/reporters in Mexico I have lost all respect for her. The background checks don't bug me. But as far as catered food and roses... the words spoiled brat come to mind. And anyway how special are roses when they are demanded rather than given?

I don't blame her for checking really. But as for renting the extra rooms, she'll probably not need them - she'll probably opt for a C section anyway . Besides i don't know what she's worried about, she makes enough ridiculous noises in her songs :thankya:

Someone mentioned homebirth previously...........wasn't it let to the public that she had placental previa or somesuch? Wouldn't that make a homebirth not an option? Then again, I guess if you are Britney Spears you could always have an operating room built into your house just in case.
