Curious to know if any of you work with men who have excessive chest hair and it sticks out of their scrubs...
I do and I just cringe! This guy could make a carpet out of his chest I think. Is it wrong for me to think that he should wear a t-shirt underneath his scrubs to cover that up? I'm not the only person at work who feels this way.
Any input is appreciated...

So true Grace!! I wish the only irritations in my life were checking out others body hair! Hell, at least it was a man with a hairy chest and not a woman!!!!!:) P.S. Never work at a veterinarians office- Every single critter (except goldfish) has a hairy chest!!!!!!:)

Hairy backs. Yuck. I have a hairy chest and it shows in my scrubs, but it's neat and trimmed, but I can't stand wearing t-shirts. To confining and too hot. Sorry if I offend.

I have no problem with men and chest hair or hairy hands either. At work we don't see a mans back, but if it's hairy too, oh well...no big deal.

As long as the male nurses are clean and small good, than a hairy chest (or back) doesn't bother me. It's when you see all that hair on their chest, and they have a funky body oder, thats when I can't stand it. You would think nurses wouldn't smell, but belive me, I've worked around some nurses, (males and females)
who smelled to high heaven!!!

Are you allowed to wear a t-shirt underneath?
I have the chest hair and that would be a concern of mine...
