Thank you for posting the link. Such an enormous waste of time. I agree with Moskowitz. If they think they have so much evidence, then just impeach.

I wonder how Joe feels about Hunter not following the subpoena?  Wonder if he'll say the DOJ should prosecute?

I do, but to be clear he's willing to testify just doesn't want to do it in private.  Too bad and they can move forward to hold him in contempt.  He almost sounds like Trump in his "they're out to get me" victimhood stance.  Pass the popcorn please.

He will likely not communicate at all with the DOJ or offer a suggestion as to how the DOJ should proceed.  He'll be asked about it incessantly by the media.  

I do recall that chairman Comer made the public promise that witnesses could choose between private deposition or public hearing.  The younger Biden asked for and showed up for a public hearing.  I wonder why that wasn't satisfactory.

Sure.  Maybe they should demand that he be detained rather than accommodate his request for a public hearing.  Since the fellow is just a private citizen, the function of government will not be adversely affected by any punishment House Republicans might like to consider.

I myself would prefer it be public.  But also to be clear they do have good reasons for it to be behind closed doors.  It's not a unusual occurrence.
