Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

Thanks honeycutts :)!!!

Hi Kitty,

Specializes in ICU.

Hello all,

Hope everyone is enjoying the last few weeks of summer! Has anyone heard from their peer advisor, yet?

Liz,

I never heard from anyone so I emailed someone and told her, she said that it was a mistake on her part and she forgot to pair me up. If you haven't heard yet you should email her and let her know.

Liz, I did hear from my advisor.

How's everyone doing? Is everyone planning to go to the bbq?

Hi Ladies,

Liz- I've spoken with my peer advisor a few times through email. Were you able to get in touch with yours, yet?

BP- I am planning on attending the BBQ.

hope I finally get a chance to me you guys.

I am getting really anxious, now that we are so close to the first day of class.

Anyone registered for the spanish course?

Honeycutts did you make it in??

Back2nursing09,

Thanks for asking. I received another email denying me a seat. It said no one had given up a seat. Well, I wrote another letter, this time to the Dean, and said many more prayers and I was blessed with another chance. The Angel said their trying to work something out. I should have a definite answer next week. Maybe someone won't show up to the orientation. Or maybe someone discovers they underestimated the rigors of the nursing program and decides not to begin. Or, maybe one of the very pregnant women delivers the baby before their due date (and the mother and baby are healthy) and realizes juggling caring for a newborn and nursing school is too much to handle. Either way, I know God is good and I'll end up where I belong. I did everything I could short of begging.

Good luck Honeycutts. I really hope you get a spot, you have been so patient and kind on this board, so i know you would be a good nurse. I will keep my fingers crossed for you!

Lily
