Good luck Honeycutts. I really hope you get a spot, you have been so patient and kind on this board, so i know you would be a good nurse. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! Lily

Dear all I just wanted to say congratulations to Honeycutts! I really think the waiting list is very hopeful, and I am sure we will see you in the autumn! Sorry I have been absent so long, I am in Europe now seeing family, but enjoy the summer and I hope to meet you all soon, lily

Good luck Honeycutts! I am sure you will hear something soon! Nurse Rica, I am in a similar position as you with the loans etc, its the first time I have attended a US institution. I have applied for FAFSA and TAP, but can I ask what is the nursing loan you are talking about? Sorry if I am being obtuse! Lily

Oh, I am sorry, well good luck with the decision, I am sure lots of people on here will help you and 3 years isn't too long really!

How about appealing the decision? I haven't done any formal science in 12 years (we can opt out at 16 in the UK) and they let me in the 2 year program. I don't know how you did in the science portion of the NLN, but if you did well, they should consider it. Also you have some leverage, as you can say, well LICHSON offered me the 2 year. Maybe offer to do some science courses in the summer? They seem pretty good at PBISN at accommodating you, and working with you, so it may be worth a shot!

Ooh that is a tough choice! I think for me its much better to get it knocked out in 2 years, but then I am already 28 and want to just start. How do you feel?
