Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????
I GOT IN !!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would like to thank everyone who prayed for me and wished me good luck. This is a lesson to never give up, keep the faith, and don't underestimate the benefits of good writing skills. I wrote my way through a rejection letter, an email explaining no one gave up their seats, and the Dean insisting it was too late.GOD IS GOOD !!!!!!!!
I've been accepted into the evening class starting in January.
Congratulations ,Honeycutts! Im so happy for you.Send the good luck my way would ya please?? lol! By the way what was your GPA and NLN score if you dont mind me asking??
Back2nursing09,
Thank you. I just happened to be cruising the site and noticed you asked a question.
My GPA score is probably a 2.9. I had a GPA of 1.5 15 years ago. It brought down
my GPA and instigated my initial rejection letter. I scored 126 on the NLN. That
placed me in the 87/89 percentile. There were a few other applicants who scored the
same percentile. They were all accepted. Applicants who scored in the mid to high 90's
were called in for interviews immediately after the school received their scores.
Good luck to you.
Honeycutts,
So has it finally sunk in that you're going to be going to the Nursing School of your dreams? I hope it has because you deserve. I much rather have a nurse who's passionate about their profession than one that is not, wouldn't you? What have you been doing to prepare yourself for your coursework in Jan.? Just curious?

Back2Nursing09,
My A&P from the Swedish Institute of Massage Therapy was not accepted. I've recently been taking my
science courses at Medgar "Nevers". I was accepted into the Evening program. My classes don't
begin until January.
CathyLady,
I think reality will hit me when I attend the orientation in December. Right now I'm focusing on the courses I'm
taking at Medgar 'Nevers" this semester. In preparation for Nursing school I've been working on being more
disciplined and focused. That's my work in life! It doesn't come so naturally for me.
I'm going to purchase my Nursing Fundamentals book soon and start reading. That way I'll be ahead before the semester
begins.

Hi everyone! I just wanted to ask...Is it true that BI focus more on the NLN score than your GPA?? And congrats to Honeycutts!
