Best Underwear to wear under scrubs??

Nurses General Nursing

Am I the only one having problems finding a pair of underwear that does not show when I bend over a patient or ones that don't leave a major panty line?

What kinds of panties work with scrubs?

This subject has been discussed previoiusly at lenght- do a search. Anyway the others are on the right track. If you have to wear white scrubs then stick with a color that matches your particualr skin tone ie tan or beige if you are caucasion, going darker if you skin is darker.

Exactly, something that is your approximate skin color. Also, I go with thin underwear 'cause the panty lines don't seem to show up as much.

Any. Any kind of underwear at all, please! I'd rather use my imagination than see it all hang out when someone goes commando.:D

I love this question. My favorite underpants are the Victorias Secret Pink Hipsters because they don't have elastic around the legs, so they don't cut in and give you Double butt- you know, when it cuts in and looks like you have four butt cheeks, instead of two. If you are wearing dark bottoms, most colors will work. but if white, go with flesh tones because they blend in.

4 BUTT CHEEKS! That's hilarious! I think the key is to buy scrub pants that are well made and fit well. Also, underwear that fits properly is also important.

LOL...........I have seen bright red and smiley faces panties under white scrubs, and the obvious thong showing above hippster scrubs. All very attractive.....LOL....not!!

The best panty I have found is actually called The best panty ever. You can get the at Walmart.

Best advice, always go with a neutral color. You don't want to be the 'butt' of your co-workers jokes :rotfl: :rotfl:

I agree with the ones from Walmart. Called the best-fitting panty ever. They are so comfortable & stay put!

Oh my...LOL! Well..ummmm..I typically don't wear underwear except for bra's..and once a month I wear some Hanes womens kind that covers the entire bum. They are comfy, don't tend to shift, and certainly don't go anywhere I need to straddle to get it out of..wink! LOL!!!

I also choose to have scub tops that fit over my bum, and loose fitting (but nice) scrub pants. I am a child of the 80's so I love large tops that cover! (no I don't wear tight legging type scrubs..LOL!).

Whites however...I never do that! But in RN school I had to..and well...unless you really try the pants out and buy high quality...well...it will show! Same with tops...I was at work one day and noticed my white bra showed through and I was so freaked all shift! I don't wear whites anymore because of that!

Gotta love a girl who admits to not wearing undies:) Triage, you crack me up:rotfl:

Try those microfibers from Barely There. They have lots of sizes, colors, and styles. Kohl's always has great sales on department store lingerie.

LOL!! I like to wear Hanes sporty briefs in dark colors if I can find them. I once tried that female boxers-type of underwear, and they gave me serious wedges, so I am sticking with the briefs.

LOL! Four butt cheeks. OMG, that was funny.

I wear jockey boy short panties, black and flesh tone. They are a "no panty line guarantee" type and silky smooth - very comfy.

Clean ones are the best, just in case.

OK. I'm blaming all of you when I get sent to HR d/t sexual harassment complaints because I'm going to be staring at all the butts at work, wondering what kind of panties they are wearing. I SWEAR IT WAS ALL NURSES!

Love the threads that make me laugh. Thanks, ladies!

I go boxer briefs when I do wear underwear (just kidding, I always wear them), but I never wear white pants, so nobody knows what I'm wearing ?

I found the absolute most comfortable underwear. GO to VS they got these underwear that are like pantyhose material but are cotton, they have many colors and come in many cuts, I prefer bikini, still covers the butt, but isn't granny panties. Love VS undies, especially there 5 for 25$ sale, yes little pricey but its quality and comfie.

I also go to VS and absolutely love them! I go with the boy cut to wear to work. Our uniform colors are white and royal blue. So I do wear white sometimes. But I love the ones I have! I don't have a panty line. And they cover everything. I think mine were 3 for 30 but worth it. ?
