Spend some time away from work with your coworkers. Drinks after a shift, ladies night out, movie night, etc.. It gives you a chance to really know who you work with and it helps you all to really work as a team when on the unit together.

Treat the patient as if they were your own family member!

Learn to leave your work at work!

In order for you to be PRODUCTIVE in work, reward yourself REGULARLY. Rewards such as taking a month vacation, spend time with friends and family, buy your favorite item, feed cats/dogs in the streets, share to the people who need help.

Rewarding yourself DOES NOT always mean YOU and YOURSELF only, mind the others surrounding you. You will be MORE HAPPY if you share your HAPPINESS to OTHERS.

Treat the patient, not the monitor.

Be open to ALL new experiences.
