Hi 123rsoh,

My friend also applied at mariners. She's scheduled for interview on the 11th. Just wanna make sure if it's the same company. Her employer is Aruna Poddatoori of Rollingstone Hills Estate, Calif. Her lawyer is Tina Huber of Ogletree, Deakins, & Nash lawfirm.

Hello Bodgie. Yap we have the same employer and the same lawyer - same company. What is your friend's name can I email him/her or probably could call her/him so that we could talk if we have the same problem please. Just forward via personal message (pm) if ok with you. Thanks.

Took the liberty of modifying your post. We have a problem with spammers also Googling this site and we don't want you to make their lists........ :) SS

I, too have submitted my papers to them sometime in 2003 after passing my cgfns..Ms. Aruna was the one who did the interview..the interview was in Hotel Intercontinental in Makati..I also met Ate Shirley Salvanera...if the bankruptcy is true..thank God i didnt pursue my applications with them...i withdraw my applications because that time they cannot promise me any vacancy in California which is my state of choice..

That's good for you. I really don't know if they are bankcrupt or what. I tried to search the net if they are but I think they are still on operation right now.I was able to search also that they still have job hirings posted at yahoo.com updated july 1st 2005 and in the state where I suppose to go. I am hoping that they will still process those that they started already/ My fault I did'nt applied in any other hospitals or agencies so I don't have any other option but to start all over with the process again and look for other employers- how sad. I have lots friends who also applied at Mariners but still on the 1st phase. If they are bancrupt it should have been on the web already. I think suzanne is right, probably I trusted a wrong company. Just an opinion I hope I'm wrong!!!!!u

Dear suzzanne:

I have observed that for New Delhi and Chennai the appointments are issued for one visa number only(in almost all cases ),whereas for manilla more than one even upto 4 or 5.

Hi folks,

I called up the Chennai consulate to enquire wheather my case is sceduled for the month of August. They said they haven't received my case yet. I don't understand how come they have not received when i have the case ID stating MDR2004XXXXXX (MDR stands for Chennai before known as Madras)

And the lady said they are going to scedule the EX case for the next 2 months. God knows what is happening.... Anybody has any clue on this. Has anybody called up Chennai Consulate????

Check again after July 15, you may have good news. :)

Hi! I think the preliminary interview is different from appointment letter wherein dependents and medical is not included in the packet, I think you need to complete your documents and submit it to them on July 11 before you will be given an appointment letter as well as medical exam. Don't worry, as soon as they found out that your documents are all complete they will surely line you up for an interview. By the way, I will accompany my friend on July5 also for preliminary interview. I will send feedback on this forum after July 5.

Greetings!

How was the interview? Was your friend scheduled for another interview? or medical exam? When?

In which area did they most paid attention to, the ds230, job offer, nbi, nso, or the police clearance?

Nimisha,

As of December 2004...NVC has the power for the interview schedules, and consulates/embassies only follow those guidlines and schedules... I am sure that the NVC is working out on your case. All you need is just a little patience (Guns N' Roses---Axl Rose )...Got to have that, you'll be crazy if you don't have that...

As I have said it is a super highway processing...brace yourselves for the ride...be prepared for the MACH 5!!! I am sure it will hit you!!!

Mach 1 is the speed of sound! Mach 5 is breaking the speed of sound barrier times 5...

SEATBELTS FOR SAFETY PLEASE!!!

I AM SURE YOU'LL ALL GONNA FEEL THE ADRENALIN RUSH :rotfl:

Nimisha,

There are lessons in life that I have learned through experience and reading posts of others in other forums...

Here they are:

1) NEVER TRUST YOUR AGENCY! That is the first lesson I have ever learned. If you want to be sure that your papers are with the U.S. Embassy already, call the National Visa Center or the U.S. Embassy if its true that the embassy holds your papers...Agency is BUSINESS...Agency holds a lot of nurses...They would not be spending money charged with international call rates just to call the National Visa Center and ask for EACH Case what is the status of that case...think about it

As Suzzane always say...AGENCIES always SLOWS things down!!!

2) DON'T WAIT FOR THE APPLE TO FALL ON YOUR MOUTH...GRAB THE APPLE!!! What i mean instead of fully trusting your agency and leaving them all the things... you got to act for yourself...

3) ALWAYS UPDATE YOURSELF ABOUT NEWS THAT WOULD COME UP...

Call the NVC and ask them about ur case like what Dhel did...

Goodluck

Dale

:) :)

The agency is going to be looking out for their interests first. Remember that.

Even if you are going with an agency, there is absolutely no reason that anyone should leave anything without following up on it. That includes nurses from every other country also. Each and every one of you need to take responsibility for what you want and are going to do, do not leave it up to anyone else to plan it for you. It is your life.............. :)

Could u please give me the NVC number???
