hello suzanne!
thank you very much for accommodating all the questions of all the nurses out there, be it difficult or a simple one....We are very lucky to have this forum and to have you as well.....
i just want to ask if those documents (DS230, NSO birth cert, NBI clearance, police clearance, photocopy of passport) submitted to NVC between July 1 - 15, 2005 will have a chance in the august interview schedule. There was a delay in forwarding those documents for some unavoidable reasons though DS230 was submitted to agency long before retrogression took place but i'm not sure if the agency did forward it to NVC. I have been checking with the NVC, and it says, it is still waiting for my biographic data which is the DS230. In other words, no papers were sent in under my name. My Visa fee was already paid on February 2004. By the way, priority date is October 2003 and papers are all complete including Visa screen certificate.
In the present situation, how long does it take for NVC to evaluate the papers and forward the case to consulate office? Does it help if the papers are duly accomplished and complete accompanied by a Visa Screen certificate regardless if it has just got in the NVC?
thank very much and looking forward to your reply. Take care. :)
Greetings! How was the interview? Was your friend scheduled for another interview? or medical exam? When?
In which area did they most paid attention to, the ds230, job offer, nbi, nso, or the police clearance?
Hi Bodgie!
Sorry for replying very late, my friend is done with her preliminary interview, it all takes a minute, they just checked it out from their checklist the documents she was asked to bring including the photocopies mentioned on the letter and that's it, no more questions asked. She was given a medical exam w/c is scheduled on July 12 and her interview was scheduled on July 18. So don't worry everything will turn out just fine and don't feel nervous about it, it's all about documentation. Good luck to you!!!
hi there, suzanne. just a follow up to my earlier message for you. i have constant communication with my agency in Pennsylvania, and my friend who is also under that agency just left for US. she also updates me from time to time so i don't worry much. she also follows up with the agency in my behalf. i am just waiting for my interview schedule at the US Embassy Manila....And i'm praying hard that i may be included in the august schedule......
thank u, suzanne for reading my letter. take care always :)

It will be a very slim chance for you to be included in the
August dates if they are only receiving the documents now. They still need to review everything. This is the reason that I tell everyone that they need to take an active part in the process, not just with speaking with their agency. Here is proof that they just sat on all of the documents for some time. What was their reason behind that?

What was the unavoidable reason? Did they give you an answer? If your things were in quite some time ago, why did they not forward them on?
This is what I get very mad about.....................

Thanks a lot! That info is very much appreciated.
Also thanks to this forum, whoever is behind all these, you're doing a great job.
thank you suzanne for your reply...as i've mentioned in my first message, i was able to accomplished my ds230 and sent it last year to my agency but there was no advice yet for the submission of the other documents such as the police and NBI clearance, birth certificate etc....when i asked why they haven't forwarded my ds230 yet to NVC, their answer was there was no advice yet received from the NVC that they need to forward my ds230.....in other words, they are waiting for the NVC to tell them to submit...which i think should not be...in my inquiry with NVC, they just told me that they are waiting for my ds230 even if i told them that my agency on the other hand informed me that they have to wait for NVC's advice...i don't know anymore what really transpired....but after the signed the passage of the law for the additional additional eb3 visas, they informed me that they are already forwarding our documents to NVC in a complete set (ds230 and the other required douments)...hence, i'm now waiting in vain................
i just want to ask if there's anybody in this forum that with a case such as mine where his/her ds230 and required documents were just forwarded months ago and were able to receive recently a preliminary appointment to the consulate office....
will appreciate it much if you can share some ideas so i can worry less...thank u......
suzanne, thanks again.....

Well that is the reason why I hate agencies...They always SLOW things down, always MESS up things, tie you up with them CONDITIONALLY for a lot of years, milk you like a cow because of salary cuts....

Hi jenic501. I have only completed the requirements for NVC this January 2005. I have submitted the ds230 on november last year but I was told that NVC needs police clearance from the country where I'm at. I too am going for preliminary appointment this monday July 11. When is your preliminary appointment? If I go first, I will keep you informed.
hi dale,
i was just wonderin' if the NVC really requires a police clearance because my agency did not ask me to forward such document ; though when i made an inquiry at the NVC only this June, they said that they have received all my documents and I will be notified as soon as an interview date is available. My PD is June 2004,by the way. Do I have every reason to be worried or should I just pray and wait for my interview schedule? I hope you can give light regarding my inquiry. God Bless!
Ms.Nightingale :)
