Hong Kong To Close As A Testing Center???
Suzanne is definitely right!!! just a piece of unsolicited advice, if any concern has already been clearly addressed, pls be more considerate and sensible before posting and insisting on what you have heard as rumors. This will just waste time, create more worries, and honestly, annoy everyone else here, especially those planning to take up or already lined up to sit for NCLEX in HK next year, reading a negative news of baseless source...let's help each other by being more objective and factual in a forum such as this. God bless us all...

hi twinkle_bell. hope u won't mind me asking, how's your case doing? have you received your visa yet or any advice from the embassy? i'm really interested to know coz we are in the same boat as far as employer is concerned. the nursing home facility i'm supposed to work to has been bought by a new company but the name and structure of the facility stands still. the new company also issued a job offer in my behalf to supercede the earlier issued by the old company. i will still be submitting the supporting documents this coming Monday as asked by the Consul during my interview last August. I just got hold of the package yesterday from my agency based in U.S. hope to hear from u, twinkle_bell and hope your case has been resolved already... God bless.

abi is right. prepaid phones are not accessible to the embassy hotline.. So ShYrN better go the the nearest pldt outlet where u can place a direct call. charges Php55/min using my home landline, guess pretty much the same to that of pldt outlet booth...Good luck!

Had my consular interview but dox under review
hi daning! thanks so much for giving some thoughts to ponder on. you're right, for the time being, let's get to view the brighter side of the scenario. maybe it's really beyond the control of the people processing the release of the enormous, voluminous visa applications... time is gold, but patience is a virtue...i guess it would help ease the feeling of anxiously waiting for the coming of visa, if we make ourselves busy at the moment........ like concentrating on nclex review, seeing friends & relatives, spending quality time with family, relaxing like watching movies, malling & most of all going to church & sincerley praying for our desired intentions...in these ways, we don't get emotionally & mentally stressed out too much...to abi17, dral, chukchak, bax tan, nutshell, shyr.n....let's hang on there, guys!.. be optimist...fate will not lead us to this progress if it's not meant for us...stay strong & have faith...god sees & hears us all the time...

Had my consular interview but dox under review
hi shyr.n.......now there's five of us: abi17, dral, chukchak, me & u....we're in the same boat...you're right, all those feelings of butterflies in the stomache, all those sleepless nights of staring at the ceiling, thinking of whatever, what if my visa is.. or what if my agency is... a lot of what if's....plus the news u get from friends who have gotten their visas already........ well, as for me, shr.n., i don't think you have a problem without taking the nclex yet at the time you were interviewed by the consul. as long as the job offer issued by your employer doesn't state or oblige the nurse to have us license before entering us, you need not worry. i haven't taken my nclex too, but the consul was aware that i'll be taking it immediately upon arrival in nj. my job offer had a pre & post nclex rates, meaning to say the employer is willing to sponsor the nurse with or without the nclex. i guess we just have to bear with the processing time of the embassy as far as releasing of visa is concerned. maybe, it's the disadvantage to those who have lacking documents at the time of the consular interview, like us... let's continue praying & be optimist that nothing so serious on the delay of our visa...let's keep in touch of any developments....god bless...

Had my consular interview but dox under review
welcome to the club, chukchak! now, there are 4 of us in this thread with same situation: abi17, dral, you & me...i was interviewed last may 26, submitted my lacking document of job offer last july 11, up to now no visa yet..it's my 14th day of waiting......yes, we are all asking "what's happening?"...where are those visas? when are they coming?.... aside from the sleepless nights of anxiety, the cost per call to the embassy is an added burden, what you get is only a general reply of "for further action, for evaluation, call again, just wait.... etc..etc"...... sometimes i have these recurring dreams that delbros delivery is at the doorstep calling out my name & presenting my visa but suddenly waking up to reality...reality of still waiting in vain......it's really tormenting...how come others got their visas in a matter of 5 days or even less???....by the way, what certification was asked of you to submit?....... hope we'll surpass this trying part of our quest to us....let's hang on there...god bless...

hi peanut! i'm done with the consular interview but i'm still waiting for my visa to be released. i'm also bound to NJ. my agency & employer wants me to be there by 1st week of september. originally, they have booked me for mid august but because visa is not yet delivered, they moved the bookings.
