Best alarm clock tone for an iphone?

So, for some reason my new iPhone 4S's volume isn't... that loud.

Essentially, my biggest fear ever is sleeping through an alarm and missing a clinical or even a lecture.

Can you guys give me your tips for making SURE you always get up?

Are there any alarm clocks with built-in schedules so never forget to set it that aren't apps?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I use Old Car Horn on my iPhone 5s. I turn the volume up so loud because it's annoying and I have no choice but to wake up!!

And how will this increase the volume?

Do you know how to adjust the volume on your 4S? The two buttons on the left edge-- press top one repetitively, makes everything louder (you'll see it happening on the screen); lower one, makes it softer. Also make sure the mute button hasn't been activated by accident-- little slider above the 2 buttons. If you see orange there, it's "sound off" for everything.

Set it in a (dry!!) glass volume side down. It will get significantly louder. Also works for music.

Rude. Well, if the volume on your phone isn't loud enough, an app isn't going to change that. Buy an alarm clock. My point was that while some of the alarm tones won't wake me at all, "Alarm" is the most disturbing for me, and will wake me even with the volume half down.

Sorry if I didn't read your post thoroughly enough for you. I was trying to help with what you already own.

I have a 5s. I use the Clock...reminds me of church bells/Big Ben. And I crank it up as loud as possible.

I also use the multiple alarms feature to my advantage and have several alarms programmed for different days and times depending on my schedule. So I really only have to check up on it weekly and tweak it as needed.

I would also recommend putting your phone outside of arm's reach, so you HAVE to get up to silence it.

I set mine to different songs

I recently bought the "Sonic Boom" alarm clock. It vigorously vibrates/shakes the bed, which helps but I'd still be lost without my husband waking me up for work. It makes it easier for him to hear the alarm (I work nights and he's awake during the day) and it's less obnoxious if he decides to give me time to "snooze".

The second best thing for waking me up is either multiple alarms or switching up my ringtones.

I like the one that sounds like a def-con/nuclear missile alarm. Definitely enough to get me up and moving!

I am a heavy sleeper, as well as not a morning person. I have a traditional alarm clock, which I must walk to to turn off or hit snooze. Then I also have my iPhone, where I bought a really loud, really annoying tornado siren ring tone that I use as both my alarm and for work calls. Never had an issue sleeping through them. I think the trick is not so much the volume but that it is annoying and you actually have to get out of bed to tun it off.

i usually use an alarm online in my computer, which is loud enough and when it wakes me up, i just lisent to the music for like 5 min because it is awesome. that wake me up. plus, i am forced to stand up and turn it off
