BCIT Nursing Sept 2021 Intake

Published

Hello!

Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

I got a reply from BCIT. For those who were wondering, there were 450 applications and 64 acceptances for this intake ?

Does anybody know how many people are put on the waitlist?

Got a call while I was at work at around ~12:30pm and I was offered a seat! Will be rejecting though ?

Oh exciting news! I’m assuming you’re going to UBC? Best of luck!!

I got a call around 2:30 for an offer today and I declined in favor for UBC. I was top 15 for reference, good luck to the people next on the waiting list!

Congrats again for getting into UBC! I was also placed on the waitlist but I emailed them to withdraw my application. Best of luck to others on the waitlist!

Hey everyone!

I got a call for the September intake on Tuesday! I accepted the offer and will be starting soon. Hoping the best for everyone else ?

Does anyone know how many clinical hours bcit students get since the curriculum change???!!

Does anyone know when we would usually get off in December? I know it depends on finals but do we usually get a little more than two weeks off?

The term start and end dates they gave us show that each of the fall semesters finish around Nov 24-26. This also includes the exams!

Hi everyone,

I have been waitlisted in the top 10 and will be attending BCIT starting from January. I'm also planning to apply for UBC 2022 when the application opens and attend UBC if I get accepted. However, my friend told me that I can't transfer from one nursing program to another if I start one. Does anybody know if this is true? I thought I can just withdraw from BCIT if I get into UBC. Both UBC and BCIT are not replying to my emails at the moment ?

You can withdraw from BCIT and attend UBC but you will not be able to transfer any nursing credits completed at BCIT.
