Hello everyone!
Now that the 2018 January applications are open, I thought that a thread should be started about it.
To those that are wondering, I'm applying with:
A&P 1 - A-
A&P 2 - A-
Psychology - A-
English - A-
Physics (elective 1) - A-
Philosophy (elective 2) - B
So, overall I'm applying with a 3.55 GPA. I have no previous degree, or relevant work experience. However, I do have relevant volunteer experiences.
I'm so nervous about my chances getting in. How are you guys feeling? What are your grades like?
Good luck to us all! :)
They will send out an email saying you have been selected to do the questionnaire and you will have between certain dates to complete the questionnaire. There is also a time limit.
They will basically tell you what the questions are going to be on. Examples are leadership and communication skills. I've done it once and it was 4 questions and 90mins to answer
how do we calculate our gpa? :)
You just need to add up all of your prerequisites individual GPA/mark, and divide it by the # of classes. For instance, pretend there are 3 prerequisite classes; in one, you received a 2.33 GPA, in the other two, you received a 3.66 GPA. Calculate the sum of those numbers, and then divide it by 3. The cumulative prerequisite GPA should be 3.22.

Hello Everybody,
Finally my application is in!
I am applying with a GPA of 3.54/4.0 or 3.83/4.33. My overall GPA is 3.05 so am more concerned about that one if it comes into consideration.
I included a Volunteer Position with VCH in my application quetionairre in the additional information section that I'm starting in a few weeks.
All of the relevant experience I included is from jobs I have had in the past that aren't related to the health field. However the experience I included was managerial, intructional, along with serving experience (which I've heard they love).
I was told by an academic advisor that if you want to be considered for both the Jan and April intakes to include a request in the applicant questionairre.
Best of luck to everyone!
