  1. Oh definitely not. That information will come out close to the end of September.
  2. Hello Everybody, Just an update. I have just been called by Langara and been offered acceptance to Fall 2017. A student has dropped out after the first week and I am starting Monday! My pre-req GPA was 3.27. Never give up!
  3. 'Pending Department Review' at the moment.
  4. I just got a notification today that I've made it to round two. Which doesn't mean much except for that my application has been reviewed and I am assuming I don't need to submit any additional documents. I'll be checking my BCIT email and 'mycommunications' on the daily!
  5. Hello Scylent, My GPA is 3.27 on the prerequisite courses and I am still on the waitlist if that helps at all. I believe I saw earlier in this feed that individuals have been accepted from the waitlist with a GPA of 3.33.
  6. Hello All, I have completed my application for the January and April intake in one go and stated that I would like my application to count for both in the additional information of the applicant questionairre (As I was told I can do that from an advisor) My Pre-Req GPA is 3.53/4.0 or 3.83/4.33 Overall GPA is more around 3.08 or so. No previous health related experience. I am starting a Volunteer Position at VCH in a few weeks which I included in my additional info. My experience on the questionairre is all work experience. Serving, Teaching/Instructing, and Management Positions. Nervous!! How is everyone else feeling?
  7. Hello Everybody, Finally my application is in! I am applying with a GPA of 3.54/4.0 or 3.83/4.33. My overall GPA is 3.05 so am more concerned about that one if it comes into consideration. I included a Volunteer Position with VCH in my application quetionairre in the additional information section that I'm starting in a few weeks. All of the relevant experience I included is from jobs I have had in the past that aren't related to the health field. However the experience I included was managerial, intructional, along with serving experience (which I've heard they love). I was told by an academic advisor that if you want to be considered for both the Jan and April intakes to include a request in the applicant questionairre. Best of luck to everyone!
  8. Amazing! So very excited for you and everybody else that has been accepted so far, I hope to join you as well, fingers crossed. :)
  9. Does anybody know whether the GPA is calculated based on BCIT's required pre-requisites or on your overall GPA when you apply to the program? I am putting my application together this week. Best of luck to everyone!
  10. Hello Glen, Congratulations!! Were you previously waitlisted or did you get an offer off acceptance right away? My GPA is 3.27 and I am still waitlisted.
  11. Hey Everybody, I am so happy to have found this feed! I'm currently on both the Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 waitlist and my GPA on the 5 pre-req courses is 3.32. Does anybody know when other Nursing schools (BCIT, UBC for example) send out their offers?
  12. I lied! My GPA was 3.32 and I was waitlisted tonight I wasn't expecting to be accepted with my current GPA and am currently enrolled in two English classes to try and up my GPA for the next intake.
  13. Hey Everybody, Hopefully we can close the gap and see where the GPA cut-off seems to be for the Spring 2018 intake. I just got an email a few hours ago and was waitlisted. I believe my GPA on the 5 courses was 3.27 (going to re-do the math now to doublecheck). I was also waitlisted for Fall 2017 and am still currently on the wait list with the same GPA. Will be re-applying in October for next year if I dont get in along with applying to BCIT and UBC.
