Baton Rouge Comm. College (BRCC) 2013 acceptance letters

U.S.A. Louisiana

Does BRCC still mail out acceptance letters in June??? I'm eager to know!! If so, I have a long wait!

You don't need nutrition at all. A&P II is the only one you have to take this fall. It's a pre-requisite for the Spring semester. Microbiology is a pre-requisite for the third semester. So you have until next summer to take that. And Stats can be completed whenever.

Thank you so much skyyla!

I couldn't remember If it was Micro. I know for sure PSYC 202 has to be taken before next semester, which makes sense because we will start Mental Health next semester. I had 2 nursing students in my A&P 2 class last semester that had 2 set out because they didn't take PSYC 202. I thought there was another class, but maybe not.....

Sorry 4 being so confusing......

Nursing classes will be scheduled on Aug 16th??? I don't know how to schedule Micro now! We can schedule non-nursing classes on June 17th, but I hate to have a schedule that's all over the place!!

Oh yea.. I went to BRCC's bookstore today and saw the red polo style shirt w/ BRCC logo for $27. Is that the same shirt we are required to have?? And.... For the ppl that bought one from the uniform store already..... What was the cost / the logo?

I'm really freaking out because I'm one of those who thought "I'll apply anyway" even though I only have the 16 credit hour pre-reqs and none of the other non nursing classes. So I'll have fundamentals along with Psyc 2 A&P2 and English 2 :\

I'll do the best I can with my schedule Monday and then I'll pray hard that it works with the nursing schedule.

I know its going to be hard- be according to their "Curriculum" plan it should be "Do-able" it'll just be hard. *sigh* oh well... I might regret it later....

I got the polo at Uniforms by Bayou and it was $19-something + $5-something for monogramming (which is the BRCC nursing discount price). The lab coat was the same exact price.

Thank you!!!

How many pairs of scrubs/polo's did y'all get? I'm going tomorrow to do everything but my physical! Curious to know how much everything will cost me at the uniform place. I know we have to show proof we bought everything, but do we have to show proof of purchasing the khakis and particular white shoes we have to have too?

I got 1 pair of everything except shoes and khakis plus supplies and the total was about $160. I dropped off my receipts yesterday and the guy barely looked at them, just checked my name off a list lol.

When you say supplies??? What did it consist of?? I already have some stuff. Did these things come in a kit? I have a stethoscope, measuring tape, & some other stuff I can dig up.

One more thing.... Are you guys dropping off things as you do them? I have fingerprints, my forms filled out, shot forms (tetorifice & HepB) & ill have my $62 money order & physical done by the end of the week. I was going to wait & bring in all my info at one time. Do y'all think its a good idea to turn in the stuff I have now???

I'll probably turn in most of mine at the same time.

But just because i think that might be easier for me.

Where are y'all getting your shoes? They had some at the uniform place, but wanted to see what other options I had
