No, clinicals are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays according to our instructor, depending on the group you're in. So if your clinical is on Tuesday, lab and lecture days will be between Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Yesterday at the CPR class we were told that clinicals will be held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It's only once a week so depending on the group you're in will determine the day you go. The CPR instructor will also be our Fundamentals instructor in the fall. She hadn't received a schedule yet so she wasn't sure of anything else. On clinical days the hours are 6:30-noon (i think) at the hospital. Clinicals don't start until mid semester though, after the first 6 weeks of class. As far as uniforms I would probably get one of each for now. Do you happen to wear a size medium? If so, you can buy one of my polo's from me. I ordered 2 thinking I would be wearing them alot. After yesterday I was informed that we wear the polo's on the days we pick up our clinical assignment at the hospital. That's it. There is absolutely no need to order 2 polo's so if you wear a medium you can buy mine! I'm stuck with it considering it was ordered and it was already sent off to be monogrammed Or if anyone else needs a polo let me know! :)

When I called Classic Image for prices they read me the list of things and it said a watch with a 2nd hand. On brcc's website they have the student handbook online and at the end it lists clinical supplies and the watch is on that list also. So either we need it or classic image needs to update their list. Of course you can get a watch anywhere, but if we need one we need to know! So that's why I'm a little confused on the watch issue...

What all clinical supplies did Uniforms by Bayou give y'all? I was told a watch was on that list and I just realized the lady didnt give me one.

Where are y'all getting your shoes? They had some at the uniform place, but wanted to see what other options I had

How many pairs of scrubs/polo's did y'all get? I'm going tomorrow to do everything but my physical! Curious to know how much everything will cost me at the uniform place. I know we have to show proof we bought everything, but do we have to show proof of purchasing the khakis and particular white shoes we have to have too?

What non nursing classes are you taking? I still have A&P II so ill be taking that along with fundamentals

Ok I'm on amazon trying to order. What did y'all do about the Fundamentals of nursing bundle? There are different options so in not sure which one I'm supposed to order??

Wow thanks! Where did you get the physical/shot/blood work done? And we have to have every one of the books that says "required" on the list? Going to look on amazon tonight!

Oh no! One of then is $62.50. Are you picking up your packet today? It tells you everything in there. I still have alot of questions even after getting the packet! It says nothing about books or when our classes will be. I have a non nursing class that I have no idea when to schedule it since I don't know when our fundamentals class will be Looks like ill be calling today to find these things out! Looking forward to meeting everyone!

That's what I plan on doing. I'm taking my CPR class next Wednesday at school. Going to try and knock everything out by next week!

Is anybody else overwhelmed by all the things that has to be done in such a short period of time? I'm so excited to get started, but very nervous too! I think it said orientation was on aug 23rd? Don't have the info with me right now. Anybody know when we start actual classes? Or do we find out everything at orientation?
