Hello eveyone is there anyone that attends Barry Universities Basic option nursing school in the fall. Can you please tell me how its like, the teachers, the experiences.

Im afraid to tell !!! does it matter? I dont wanna jinx it because i still have other courses to take! I have to take that class too.....gosh....its so overwhelming! i wish the prices were lower.

haha, no i suppose not. But you're taking physiology at dade right? And you won't jinx it girl..watch you'll get in and we'll be classmates! :)

yeah, im taking what in dade is called anatomy and physiology. have you taken statistics? and from your mouth to God's ears! ive taken away a lot of time to get into this nursing thing. I didnt always know i wanted to do this. I was all over the place with majors! If I dont get in I'm not sure what Im gunna do because i feel like ive wasted a lot of time deciding a major. i dont wanna keep having my life on hold.

I dont know if its united health care. For me the loans did not cover the books or supplies. If your EFC is 0 you should be able to get some type of loan and grants.

Dont worry, from 12 to 18 credits, the price of tuition is the same. For example, if you are taking 12 credits you will pay the same as some one who is taking 16 or 18 credits. If more than 18 youll pay extra.

Yeah, at Dade it's A&P 1 and A&P2..but at FIU it's Physiology then Anatomy, separately. And I took intro to statistics already.

People who already have a bachelors in business and what not, are going back to school to purse a carreer in the medical field. It seems to be the most stable industryduring these hard economic times. It's never too late to return to school. :)

Moved to the General Nursing Student Discussion forum. Good luck to you all!

I am happy that I found this thread. Has anyone been accepted for the accel program starting Jan 2010?

I was accepted into fall and spring but suppsedly strange things have been happening and I can not start in fall if I wish too. Oh well. I will start in spring.

I'm starting Fall 2010..I'm afraid that I might not be able to handle the accelerated. One of the girls that posted on this thread, said that too many people were accepted for this coming fall..and had the extra students on a waiting list. :/
