Hello eveyone is there anyone that attends Barry Universities Basic option nursing school in the fall. Can you please tell me how its like, the teachers, the experiences.

Which classes? did you speak to an adviser? Last time i spoke to my adviser she told me that if i had too many classes that are important (i.e. physiology, sociology) they might not accept you to the program...however if you just need speech, biomedical ethics it's different.

Its 2 religion courses, stats, and phy II. Did you pay the $225 fee for nusring school b4 you were called about your acceptance? I was sent a letter for that but a counselor there told me not to pay until i was called and told that i was accepted to the program.

No i do not have bright futures, but i think it covers a little bit of the tuition. The health insurance is 995 dollars for the whole year.

2 Religions courses? We're only required one though?.. No i have yet to pay the fee..and i think it's a $250 enrollment fee...I am awaiting this "package" they speak of in the mail. Have you gotten a call or called to see if you're been accepted?

Is it United Health Care?..and do the loans cover your books/nursing school supplies?

last year when i got accepted i was told only one...now the counselor said 2.....!

Perhaps she meant a humanity?...idk..I've spoken to my adviser, and a transcript evaluator and i don't recall having to take 2 religion courses. :/ When did your counselor tell you this?

@ thebegining of the month. the counselor looked over my transcript and said they now require 6 credits of rel or phi even though i took a phi class. In fact, more than one. Let me tell you what I was told was a pre req and maybe we can exchange a list and then ask our counselors. shall we?

oh...yeah.. phi for sure.. I already took intro to ethics, so that counted as my philosophy. And right now I'm taking world religions, so that covers my religions.

what did your packet bring? what do you have to do now? Cpr i know, the insurance ($995??), etc..

You must be excited!!! I bet you just felt this big rush of relief when you got that!!

I haven't gotten my package yet..I'm waiting for it in the mail..I think I'll call tomorrow to see when they're being mailed out. I have yet to meet anyone on this forum that has gotten a call like me yet... I want written proof that i was accepted! haha. Why don't you call tomorrow to see if they've made their decision?!

And quick question..what is your GPA for the pre-reqs so far?

I'm super excited...but dreading the price tag on that physiology class i must take at Barry.
