Hello eveyone is there anyone that attends Barry Universities Basic option nursing school in the fall. Can you please tell me how its like, the teachers, the experiences.

I was also accepted for this Fall but unfortunately Barry took too many students in for this semester and I was put on the wait list for not registering in time for classes due to the advisor never contacting me back. I hope 3 people drop out so I can get in! Did you take that test yet?

Did you get an acceptance letter in the mail or did you call?

did you have all your pre req's done?

I applied for the same and cant wait for an answer!!

I received a call from my adviser yesterday 7/14. She said i would receive a nursing package by mail..but didn't state exactly when. I have most of my pre reqs done.. I just need to retake physio (Barry won't accept mine from FIU), take speech, bio-medical ethics, clep spanish..and finish the relgions and computer class I have in progress.

how about you?? Where are you transfering from? Did you finish all your pre-reqs?

Carygt3 i got grants, a Barry scholarship which everyone recieves dependeing on your gpa, and ALOT of loans. I have about a 3.3 and got a 7,000 dollar scholarship.

jmi0886, people always drop out at the last minute, just keep in touch with terre. If any thing you could do the accelerated program or wait fall 2010.

And for any one going in 2010 there is an entrance test now.

I got very lucky because they just strated the entrance test for fall 2010. Even loans did not cover everything, i still owe 500 dollars because of the health insurance.

Wow..do you have bright futures? How much is the health insurance? I don't have insurance myself and i guess i'd have to enroll in the school's plan...

they want students for this Fall to take the test as well. I guess its like a beta test or somethign.

I read on a thread that someone who applied to august 2010 was already accepted....yikes!! I wonder if we'll make it to acceptance day sane!!!!

I applied two years ago to barry and got accepted but i took a year off from school. It sucks that now we have to take that test! I think if i had just gone back then.......this would have been a lot easier. Now i feel like i must act quick or else i'll be facing another speedbump without shock absorbers.

I still havent received any notification. I'm transfering with my A.A. from mdc. I only have 5 prereqs to go including labs!
