baccalaureate equivalency table from CNO

Published

anyone who completed this table,,pls help me,,thank you

someone from a thread in a certain site told me that I should read the CNO compendium before I answer the BET for guidelines. a poster mentioned this to me last week too but i wasn't sure what he/she meant.. still not sure.

is it really necessary? did most applicants who got eligible after submitting their BET read this beforehand?

how about you guys who are done with the BET and got eligible to sit CRNE? did you read this or any guide books before filling it up or did you just answer away?

thank you!

I have read the compedium during my Nursing in Ontario course and I really can say that it gives me a whole new perspective of what nursing in Ontario is. It is like the "holy book" for all nurses here. You should know the standards of practice by heart.

i had read the compendium but not the time when i am completing my BET :)

before or after you did BET?

Specializes in Medical-Surgical, Rehabilitation,.

with the certificates/additional documents that needs to be sent, did you guys send the original ones or only photocopies? if just copies, did you have it notarized or not?

can i send the the additional documents together with the BET or separately?

thank you for the clarifications!

I submitted my application via fax, and just sent in a copy of the documents. I didn't get it notarised or anything just sent the copy and that seemed to be sufficient.

I sent a lot of extra documents in with my BET including my UK exam paper and reports from mentors about my practise.

Hello everyone!

I recently completed my BET and I would like to send it thru e-mail.

My question is what is the e-mail add that I will use?

Thank you very much!!!

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

If it's possible to submit by email that information should be in the package you received. If it's not plainly stated in the instructions, then I would expect that email is not an accepted method of submission.

Thank you for the reply. But when I received the BET it stated that they PREFERRED that you send it thru e-mail in the instructions. Unfortunately, the e-mail address was not included in the letter. I find it really weird..

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

If that is the case just contact the college and I am sure they will assist

That is quite strange. I agree with silverdragon102... contact CNO directly and ask them for the email address. Be prepared for it to take several days for them to get back to you, though.
