anyone who completed this table,,pls help me,,thank you

congratulations FunkyCat...what materials are you using to prepare for the CRNE??? I am in the process of answering the BET...but I want to start looking for review materials that will be helpful to pass CRNE...will be waitin for your reply...thank you much.

I originally sent in my application in Oct, CNO acknowledged receipt of it 1st Nov. Got a letter 14th Dec asking for BET etc

Then waited until 14th March to hear that I am exam eligible

:)

That's good you didn't wait so long. :) I also received the BET last Dec and I'm still waiting for the result :uhoh21:

@Tinaling it felt like forever!!! lol!!

@reydon123 the Canadian Nurses Association does a prep book for exam prep, which seems to be quite good. I've only had it a couple of days because it is expensive if you're not going to use it, $75 + tax + shipping and handling. I called up the college bookstore here and they carried it in stock so didn't have to get it shipped from Ottawa.

The fifth edition is good for anyone taking the CRNE from June 2010 to May 2015 as far as I understand.

Apart from that I'm going over my old textbooks and notes just to refresh my mind about general nursing practise...

Will be selling my CRNE prep guide on in July assuming that I pass :)

Hope that helps :)

You'll be doing that privately, of course, since advertising on this site is definitely not allowed, right?

Yes of course I will be selling it privately, was just typing what I was thinking!! No point me keeping a book when I don't need it if I have passed the exam right..??

In the letter stating about eligibility to take the exam the CNO also recommended this from their website

It seems to be a helpful revision tool

Tinaling it's been about 5 months since I graduated and I can't wait to get back into the swing of things!!

Your transcripts have to show theory and clinical in Paeds, Obstetrics and Adult as well as Mental Health (probably OK for Mental Health) They will not accept you if you are deficient in hours. Some provinces on the west side of Canada will accept Psychiatric nurses but you have to apply to the appropriate college for Psychiatric nurses and pass their exam but then you can only work as a RMN in Canada restricting where you work
